In this event, their favorite story books come to life! The children recited and performed several nursery rhymes such as Hey Diddle, Diddle, One, Two, Buckle My Shoe, and Old Mother Hubbard. Pangea Animal Show To close their unit on animals, Pre-K 3 & 4 enjoyed a Pangea Animal Show. The students, with the help of an animal expert, got to meet and handle many interesting animals that they had previously learned about in class. 5 Festival News!!! Our 40th Annual Spring Festival is less than 2 weeks away! The festival features 16 of the best international food booths. There will be more than 20 popular carnival rides to thrill people of all ages. There is no admission charge. Visit our website for festival news and updates us on Facebook: Pre-sale unlimited ride bracelets are available at the Church Gift Shop or early mornings in the Parish Center. 6 Festival Wish List!!! Donations Accepted Please check the bulletin board found in the foyer of the church. The bulletin board has several food/ingredient items needed in order to make our several booths a success. Donations can be brought to the rectory. We are accepting monetary donations to our Festival food and grade booths. Donate to your favorite booth or the to General Festival fund. Donations can be made through our website, or can be dropped off at the school s main office or church rectory. We are in need of Wine, Gouda Cheese, Manchego Cheese, Baguettes, Saltines and Olives for the Tapas booth. Candy donations are also needed. Please send in individually wrapped Starbursts, 5lbs bags of Sour Gummy Bears, Plain M&M, Sour Patches and Skittles. Thank you very much for your continued support! 8 Notes & Thoughts Vocation Cup We thank the following families for hosting the Vocation Cup this past week: The Baltar Family The Wong Family The Vocation Blessing Cup is a wonderful instrument of prayer and devotion for our parish families. The Cup reminds each host family that it is their responsibility to pray for and foster vocations to the priesthood and religious life. A family is asked to host the Vocation Cup for one week. It will travel from home to home as a sign of our total parish commitment to praying for vocations.
