Election of members to the committee s Bureau Nora Castro (Parlatino, Uruguay) was elected Co-Chairwoman by acclamation. José Guadarrama Márquez (EU-Mexico Joint Parliamentary Committee) was elected Co-Vice- Chairman by acclamation. 3. Approval of minutes of meetings of 9 November 2006 (Brussels), 6 July 2007 (Quito) and 19 December 2007 (Brussels) The minutes were approved. 4. Consideration of amendments and vote on a draft joint resolution: Poverty and social exclusion The two co-rapporteurs, Ilda Figueiredo (EP, GUE/NGL) and Amelia Herrera (Parlatino, Chile), presented their joint motion for a resolution.
