Becas Investigación 1st SECEC research grant 2006-2007 SECEC/ESSE provides a 25'000.- Euro research grant which is intended to promote and support the scientific activities of society members. The grant's primarily purpose is to foster projects that provide useful information for our members and/or develop and provide methodological tools. The gathered knowledge will be at free disposal for SECEC/ESSE members. Methodological and epidemiological projects will be favored.applications written by members, associate- or corresponding members, should include a description of the project, the involved persons and institutions as well as a financial plan. Applications should be sent by e-mall to Sylvie Noel (secec@wanadoo.fr). The 2006/2007 deadline for submission is July 31, 2006.Applications will be reviewed and selected by the R&D committee. Premios y Fellowships THE 2007 DIDIER PATTE PRIZE This prize, which is awarded every two years, was created to commemorate the memory of Didier Patte - an outstanding French shoulder surgeon who was one of the two Founder Members of SECEC with Norbert Gschwend. It has a value of 3 000. The prize will be awarded for a piece of European scientific research of outstanding merit pertaining to the shoulder or the elbow. The work must be presented in English or French and must not have received a comparable prize. The research should NOT have been published before 1st May 2007 and the author should be under the age of 45 years. Six copies of the work must be submitted to the SECEC secretary by 1st April 2007. A jury will be appointed by the R & D Committee after the receipt of the works. The prize will be awarded at the SECEC congress and the prize winner will be asked to present his work in a ten minute presentation. Fellowships: : Europeo, USA y Japón
