Thanks to all of our families who came out to hear a presentation from the incredible Dr. Lourdes Ferrer. The kids had a blast dancing, taking pictures, and making balloon creations while their parents learned more about how to support them academically. Nuestra Noche de Padres fue un gran éxito! Title I Summer School / Escuela de Verano Título I This summer, Oak Terrace will be utilizing federal Title I funding to provide summer school to our most at-risk students. Students were selected for invitation based on their performance on the MAP Assessment in Reading and Math. The focus of our summer school will be on ensuring that we are providing the identified students with the extra instructional support they need to perform at grade level. Invitation letters will go out next week We are compiling a list of resources for children who do not qualify for summer school that can be used by families at home throughout the summer.
