La iglesia católica de Santa Bárbara siempre organiza eventos y concursos con el fin de animar a los jóvenes a que participen más en la vida de la parroquia y asistan a misa u otros cultos importantes. Como viene siendo habitual a estas alturas del año, y como se hizo en años anteriores, el sacerdote (el Padre José) y los fieles de la parroquia se reúnen y comparten ideas innovadoras. Además, su objetivo es promover la solidaridad y buscar maneras de recaudar fondos. Este año habrá un campamento de verano y un concurso tipo Quién quiere ser millonario? y se espera que estas actividades puedan atraer a los jóvenes. Solo hay que inscribirse en los carteles, colocados en el tablón de anuncios, junto a la librería, dice el padre José.
