3 Autores del taller Background We present the results of our colaboration with the digital-earth.eu network and the Complutense University educational Projects for Innovation and Improvement of Teaching Quality (PIMCD 6/2010): Teaching geography through the analysis of images with the help of the virtual campus and the interactive whiteboard and (PIMCD 133/2011) Learning Geography with the Web 2.0. ). 5 Main objectives Create and share teaching materials for learning Spanish geography using geo-media and geography information technologies (GIT). Design a working methodology based on observation, reviewal and assessment of landscapes through geo-media (photographs, videos, etc.). Design quality and original materials to create virtual campus activities and take advantage of Web 2.0. Strengthen group work dynamics, including the debate, creation, selection and implementation of materials developed and their projection in university lectures by encouraging good teaching practices. Create a webpage by Moodle virtual campus of the Complutense University with the developed materials so that teachers and students who participated in the project can access them as well as any other member of the teaching community.

11 Conclusions The Project has improved geo-media, ICT competences, and spatial thinking with the initial training of future teachers in teachers lessons for learning Geography. Moodle virtual campus, interactive white board, Web 2.0 and ArcGIS Online have been very useful tools. The interactive work between teachers and students, both together as well as on their own on national and international projects (digital-earth.eu) has been helpful in expanding the content of the Project and in improving ways to teach Geography. It conveys our experience and research results to other teachers as it also does to the society. It has been proved that it is possible today to learn Geography through GIS tools and geo-media.
