4 INSTALLATION AND NOTE Note: The quality of installation will affect the system's performance and reliability. When you consider the complexity of installation, you may well decide to seek professional services. The dealer should provide such services or will be able to recommend a professional installer. CAUTION: The +12V DC and ground wires should be heavy gauge standard copper wire with heavy insulation. Keep the length of power wire as short as possible. Use provided red power cable is preferred. Never run any wires underneath or outside the vehicle INSTALACIÓN Y NOTAS: Nota: La calidad de la instalación afectará el rendimiento y la confiabilidad del sistema. 7 Input Signal Connections Conexiones de señales de entrada Low level Input (RCA) Low level Input (RCA) input signal is preferred for best performance. Use provided black RCA cable to connect this system to the head unit s low level (RCA) outputs. High level Input (Speaker Wire) High level Input (Speaker Wire) should only be used when RCA outputs are not available from the head unit. Connect the head unit speaker outputs to the high level input connector as shown above. Extra speaker wires are needed to extend the length of the High Level Input Speaker Wire Harness, in order to connect this system to head unit. 7

8 Entrada de alto nivel (Cable de la bocina) La entrada de alto nivel (Cable de la bocina) sólo deberá usarse cuando no estén disponibles las salidas RCA de la unidad principal. Conecte las salidas para la bocina de la unidad principal al conector de la entrada de alto nivel como se muestra arriba. CAUTION: Do not use both low and high level inputs at the same time connect only one or the other. PRECAUTIONS: No use ambas entradas, de bajo y alto nivel a la misma vez conecte sólo una por vez. One Year Limited Warranty Sondpex warrants, to the original retail purchaser only, that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 Days from the date of purchase. For the warranty to be effective, the receipt or a copy of the bill of sale must show that the system was purchased from an Authorized Sondpex Audio Dealer. If, within 90 days from the date shown on the receipt or the bill of sale, the system fails due to a defect in workmanship or material, Sondpex will repair or replace the defective components of the system. All returned parts and products become the property of Sondpex. Products replaced or repaired under this warranty will be returned to the original retail purchaser. Freight costs will not be covered under the warranty but will be paid mutually by both parties. Furthermore, this Warranty shall not apply if: 1. There are missing parts in the system 2. Damage to the system was caused by accident, disaster, abuse, misuse, negligence, inadequate packing or shipping procedures, commercial use, or voltage inputs in excess of the rated maximum of the system. IT IS THE PURCHASER S RESPONSIBILITY!!! Sondpex is under no obligation to replace or repair the system. 3. The system was opened, modified, or repaired by unauthorized 11 personnel. 4. The system was not installed correctly as outlined in the installation instructions. 9 In the event that your system needs repair or service within the duration of the Warranty, you may return the system to your authorized Sondpex Audio dealer using the following guidelines: 1. To return the product directly to Sondpex, contact us toll-free at to obtain a Return Authorization Number. YOU MUST HAVE PRIOR AUTHORIZATION TO RETURN YOUR SYSTEM. WITHOUT A RETURN AUTHORIAZATION NUMBER, SONDPEX WILL NOT ACCEPT THE RETURN SYSTEM. Be prepared to state the model number, date of purchase and dealer s name and address when calling. Without the proof of purchase from an authorized Sondpex Audio Dealer, Sondpex is under no obligation nor have any responsibility to honor the WARRANTY!!! 2. The risk of loss or damage in transit is the purchaser s responsibility. SONDPEX IS NOT RESPONSIBLE. 3. FREIGHT COLLECT SHIPMENTS WILL BE REFUSED! WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER SHIPPING FOR RETURNS / REPAIRS. Los gastos de envío no están cubiertos por la garantía, pero serán pagados por ambas partes según corresponda. Además, esta Garantía no será válida si: 1. Faltan partes de la unidad 2. El daño a la unidad fue causado por un accidente, desastre, abuso, uso indebido, negligencia, procedimientos de empaque o transportes inadecuados, uso comercial, o conexión a voltajes que excedan el máximo permitido de la unidad. ES RESPONSABILIDAD DEL COMPRADOR!!! Sondpex no tiene obligación de reemplazar o reparar la unidad. 3. La unidad fue abierta, modificada, o reparada por personal no autorizado. 4. La unidad no fue instalada correctamente como se describe en las instrucciones de instalación. Para devolver el producto directamente a Sondpex, contáctenos llamando gratis al para obtener un Número de Autorización de Devolución. USTED DEBE TENER AUTORIZACIÓN PREVIA PARA DEVOLVER SU UNIDAD. SIN UN NÚMERO DE AUTORIZACIÓN DE DEVOLUCIÓN, SONDPEX NO ACEPTARÁ LA UNIDAD DEVUELTA. Esté preparado para suministrar el número de modelo, la fecha de compra y el nombre del comerciante y la dirección cuando llame.
