1 PLAN DE MEJORAMIENTO INGLÉS 9 COLEGIO TOMAS CARRASQUILLA.I.E.D PEI: COMUNICACIÓN TECNOLOGÍA Y CALIDAD DE VIDA BLOG: colegiotomascarrasquilla.webnode.es 35 años PLAN DE MEJORAMIENTO AREA Humanidades DOCENTE RESPONSABLE: Armando de Jesús Barrios Barreto ASIGNATURA Inglés PERIODO 2 Segundo GRADO 9 JORNADA Tarde INTRODUCCIÓN Los estudiantes de 9 de la jornada de la tarde tienen dificultades en el manejo de temas que se han estudiado en años anteriores, por esto es indispensable reforzar dichos temas. Es así como durante este período se reforzó el manejo de los tiempos presente simple y pasado simple, el verbo TO BE en presente y pasado; al igual que los comparativos y superlativos. También se presentaron los auxiliares modales CAN, COULD, MAY MIGHT, HAS TO HAVE TO. Se sigue valorando el cumplimiento y compromiso de ellos en lo referente a la realización de tareas y trabajos, especialmente durante las clases.

2 Los jóvenes aprendices del idioma inglés deben realizar los ejercicios planteados y sustentar el conocimiento y manejo de los temas a través de unas preguntas a nivel escrito. Esta sustentación la podrán realizar en los momentos designados para tal hecho y cuantas veces sean necesarias. LOGROS Utiliza adecuadamente las estructuras estudiadas para comparar y expresar lo máximo y lo mínimo de un grupo de elementos en situaciones comunicativas. Comprende información explícita e implícita en un texto escrito y de un audio. Usa los auxiliares modales adecuadamente para expresar lo que se puede hacer, lo que se tiene que hacer en situaciones comunicativas. CONTENIDOS TEMÁTICOS Oraciones comparativas y superlativas en formas afirmativas, negativas e interrogativas. Presente simple y pasado simple. Oraciones afirmativas, negativas e interrogativas. Auxiliares modales: Can, Could, May, Might, Should, Ought to, Must, Have to, Has to, Had to, etc. ACTIVIDADES Read the anecdote and answer the questions about it. Some scientists decided to do the following experiments on a dog. For the first experiment, they cut one of the dog's legs off, then they told the dog to walk. The dog got up and walked, so they they

3 learned that a dog could walk with just three legs. For the second experiment, they cut off a second leg from the dog, then they told the dog once more to walk. The dog was still able to walk with only two legs. For the third experiment, they cut off yet another leg from the dog and once more they told the dog to walk. However, the dog wasn't able to walk with only one leg. As a result of these three experiments, the scientists wrote in their final report that the dog had lost it's hearing after having three legs cut off. 1. What were the scientist experimenting on? 2. 5 Los estudiantes deben desarrollar las actividades del presente taller y sustentarlo al momento de entregarlo al profesor. Éste les hará unas preguntas sacadas del taller y los jóvenes deberán responder adecuadamente mínimo tres de esas preguntas y de este modo se dará por alcanzados los logros correspondientes al segundo período del año escolar.
