Otra característica de T90 es una mayor resistencia a la ruptura que la misma malla utilizada en el sentido tradicional de trabajo. Hay estudios que indican un aumento de un 15% a 25% en su resistencia. Preservar la calidad de la pesca Otra característica destacable de la malla T90 aplicada al copo es su característica de una mayor estabilidad respecto del balanceo de éste en condiciones reales de pesca. Esto permitiría preservar la calidad del pescado ya que evitaría golpes con los consecuentes hematomas subcutáneos, pérdida de escamas y marcas de presión debido al rozamiento de la captura contra las paredes de la red. Malla uadrada Netting Dispositivo de Selectividad La malla cuadrada se utiliza como dispositivo de selectividad al permitir el escape de peces pequeños a través de su abertura.
