We ve crammed all of the main features of your headset into this handy guide, and in a matter of minutes we ll show you just how easy your headset is to use. 5 Charge it let s get you up and running Status Light Red/Yellow = charging Green = fully charged While your headset is charging, you won t be able to use it. Note: Your battery is designed to last the life of your product. It should only be removed by a recycling facility. Any attempt to remove or replace your battery will damage your headset. Charge it 4
6 Basics a few essentials to get you started Turn it on & off On Off Wear it 1 Rotate the boom to the open position and the speaker to the right or left (depending on which you ear you use). 2 Loop it over your ear (ensure main housing is behind your ear and the boom points towards your mouth). Tip: Try out all the supplied ear cushions to get a comfortable fit and optimal performance. 5 Basics

Pair & connect with your phone 1 Turn off any Bluetooth devices previously paired with your headset. 2 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone. 3 Put the headset on your ear (see Wear it on page 5). 4 Turn on your headset (see Turn it on & off on page 5). The status light becomes steadily lit in blue and you hear ready to pair. 5 Follow the voice prompts to connect your phone to your headset. Note: When prompted for the passkey, enter When your headset successfully pairs with your phone, you hear pairing complete. 9 Pair & connect a second phone 1 Turn off first phone and any other Bluetooth devices previously paired with your headset. 2 Turn your headset off (see Turn it on & off on page 5). 3 Put the headset on your ear. 4 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone. 5 Turn on your headset. The status light becomes steadily lit in blue and you hear ready to pair. 6 Follow the voice prompts to connect your phone to your headset. Note: When prompted for the passkey, enter When your headset successfully pairs with your phone, you hear pairing complete. To connect to both phones, turn on the first phone while the second phone is connected. When you hear phone 2 connected, your headset is connected to both phones. Test your connection 1 Place the headset on your ear. 2 On your phone, dial a phone number and press the Call/Send key. 15 Settings make some changes Note: The voice prompts are only in English. Turn voice prompts on & off With the headset turned on, press and hold either Volume button and Call button until you hear voice prompts on or voice prompts off. Reset Caution: This action erases all pairing information stored in your headset. 1 Ensure your headset is on. 2 Press and hold both Volume buttons and Call button together for 10 seconds until the status light is steady blue. 16 Problems? we ve got solutions Note: The voice prompts are only in English. My headset will not enter pairing mode Make sure that any devices previously paired with the headset are turned off. If the status light is flashing in blue, first turn off the other device, then turn the headset off and on. The status light becomes steadily lit in blue and you hear ready to pair. My phone doesn't find my headset when searching Make sure the status light on your headset is steadily lit in blue when your phone is searching for devices. If not, press and hold the Call button and both Volume buttons until you hear ready to pair. My headset worked before but now it's not working Make sure your phone is on and the Bluetooth feature is turned on in your phone. If the Bluetooth feature was turned off or was turned on only temporarily, you may need to restart the Bluetooth feature and pair your phone and headset again (see Pair & connect on page 7). 15 Problems?

19 Enter or review written data. Surf the web. Input navigation information. Perform any other functions that divert your attention from driving. While driving, ALWAYS: Keep your eyes on the road. Use a handsfree device if available or required by law in your area. Enter destination information into a navigation device before driving. Use voice activated features (such as voice dial) and speaking features (such as audible directions), if available. Obey all local laws and regulations for the use of mobile devices and accessories in the vehicle. End your call or other task if you cannot concentrate on driving. Responsible driving practices can be found at (in English only). Caution About High Volume Usage Warning: Exposure to loud noise from any source for extended periods of time may affect your hearing. The louder the volume sound level, the less time is required before your hearing could be affected. To protect your hearing: Limit the amount of time you use headsets or headphones at high volume. Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings. Turn the volume down if you can t hear people speaking near you. If you experience hearing discomfort, including the sensation of pressure or fullness in your ears, ringing in your ears, or muffled speech, you should stop listening to the device through your headset or headphones and have your hearing checked. 26 If the cellular phone has been installed in a vehicle, take the vehicle to the service center to analyze the equipment, or the installation on the vehicle. This warranty does not cover the installation of the cellular phone. 2. Motorola Mobility Inc., through its own service centers and/or their authorized service centers, will repair or replace the cellular phone at no charge. This warranty covers shipping expenses, only if it is needed to make the repair. Motorola Mobility Inc. through its own service centers and/or their authorized service centers, at its own discretion, will repair, replace, or reimburse the purchase price of the defective cellular phone only during the warranty period, as long as the Product, in accordance with the conditions established in this warranty, is returned to a Motorola service center or to a Motorola authorized service center. All the accessories, batteries, parts, small boards or equipment of the cellular telephone that by virtue of being defective are replaced in fulfillment of this warranty, will automatically become property of Motorola Mobility Inc. 3. The batteries (Nickel-Cadmium) are warranted only if their capacity is reduced by 80% below its predicted capacity.
