Setting started 1.1 Using the crown A characteristic feature of your multifunction watch equipped with the ETA movement /432 is its unique programming crown for all manipulations, which you can turn to obtain different functions: in neutral position: selection of the different funtions in pulled-out position: correction of the displayed indications. The crown also acts as a push piece to activate different functions such as the arming and disarming of the alarm, and to operate the three chronograph funtions: starting, stopping and resetting to zero. Synchronizing the analog display (hands) with the digital display (LCD) After a battery change, or exceptionally in the event of a malfunction, you must always synchronise the time indicated by the digital numerals on the dial. To do this: Select the neutral function (Fig 1. ) (dial with no digital figures displayed). Pull out the crown. The symbol R appears in the upper section of the dial. The time which appears on the dial is different from the time shown by the hands. Turn the crown in either direction until the hands show the same time as the numerals on the digital display: a rapid rotation advances or retracts the hands by one full hour, a slow rotation enables the minutes setting to be corrected. Press the crown back down. Select the function for local time. Proceed to time setting (see 4.2).

6 4.1 Checking and changing the time display mode There are 2 time display modes: once 24 hours twice 12 hours: AM from midnight to midday and PM from midday to midnight Select function T2 Second time zone (Fig. 6) To check the display mode: Press the crown once. If the letter A or P appears, time is displayed in the 12 hour mode, i.e.: If no letter appears, time is displayed in the 24 hour mode, i.e.: Morning Morning To change the display mode, press twice on the crown. evening evening 4.2 Setting the time Hours and Minutes Select the 24 hours display mode (see 4.1). Select and display local time. Pull out the crown. Symbol T appears in the upper section of the dial and the numerals for hours and minutes flash. Set the correct time by turning the crown either backwards or forwards: a rapid rotation advances or retracts the hands by one complete hour, a slow rotation enables the minutes setting to be corrected. Press the crown back down. If you so wish, return to the 12 hour display mode (see 4.1). In this case, a small letter P appears between midday and midnight alongside the numeral displaying the hours.

7 4.2.2 Fine correction of the second After the time has been set (see 4.2), or after a certain period of time in operation, if the watch is showing a slight inaccuracy, the time can be set to the exact second. To do this: Select and display local time. Pull out the crown. The symbol T appears in the upper section of the dial and the numerals for hours and minutes flash. Press the crown back down. The numerals displaying seconds flash for 1 minute. While the numerals display for seconds is flashing, press the crown to synchronize the time with a speaking clock, or check the time shown against a reference timepiece until a full minute is reached. The numerals display for seconds is the reset to zero. Check that the minute display is showing exactly the right time. If needed, correct the time by plus/minus one unit (see 4.2). 4.3 Setting the date and month Select the function Seconds/Date (Fig. 3) Pull out the crown. The seconds disappear and the numeral for the month appears alongside the date. The numerals flash. Turn the crown backwards or forwards: a rapid rotation changes the month, a slow rotation changes the date. Press the crown back down. The month display disappears and the seconds display reappears. Note: Even if the month is not displayed while the watch is being used in normal mode, it is still necessary for it to be set, otherwise the perpetual calendar will not funtion correctly. (up to 2099).

8 4.4 Correction of the language of the day Select the function Day-Date (Fig. 4) Pull out the crown. A letter appears in place of the date. It indicates the language in which the day is displayed: E = English S = Spanish F = French D = German The language and year flash. Turn the crown forwards or backwards to obtain the desired language and year: a rapid rotation changes the language, a slow rotation changes the year. Press the crown back down. The day and language disappear and the day of the week and the date reappear. 4.5 Using the timer Select the function Timer (Fig. 5) Pull out the crown. The numerals displaying hours and minutes start to flash. Display the desired time by turning the crown forwards or backwards (a rapid rotation changes the hours, a slow rotation changes the minutes). Press the crown back down. The countdown function starts and the watch alarm rings when the preset time period has elapsed. Press the crown down to stop the alarm. Note: The countdown function can be cancelled at any time (resetting the counter to zero). To do this: Select the Timer (TM) function. Press the crown for more than 2 seconds. The countdown function is activated automatically by pressing the crown.

9 4.6 Displaying the time of another time zone The watch is capable of displaying not only the local time but also the time in a second time zone. To do this: Select the function Time in a second time zone (Fig. 6) Pull out the crown. The numerals displaying the time and minutes for the second time zone start to flash. To change these settings: Turn the crown backwards or forwards. Press the crown back down. Note: The display showing seconds cannot be altered. This display is the same as the one for local time. The time zone display is corrected in multiples of 1/2 hours. Since the watch can operate in either 12 hour (AM-PM) mode, or in 24 hour mode, you must bear this in mind when reading the time shown for a second time zone (see 4.1). Changing the time zone Whenever you change time zone or whenever daylight saving changes occur between winter and summer (and vice versa), you are able to advance or retract the time shown by the hands by anywhere between one and several hours without losing the display showing the minutes and seconds. To do this: Select and display local time. Pull out the crown. The numerals for hours and minutes flash and the symbol T appears in the dial. Turn the crown backwards or forwards quickly. The hands advance or retract the time by one complete hour and the digital time display changes to match this new setting. Press the crown back down. Note: Do not turn the crown in small increments after turning it quickly in order to change the time zone setting.

10 4.7 Using the chronograph Select the function Chronograph (CHR) in SPLIT (SP) mode (Fig. 8) for intermediate times or ADD (Ad) mode (Fig. 7) for addition of time You can only select one of these functions at once, i.e. either SPLIT or ADD, but never both together. Starting and stopping the counter with consecutive presses of the crown. In SPLIT mode, each time these operations are repeated a new split time is indicated. In ADD mode, you can start and stop the counter in quick succession. To reset the counter to zero, press the crown and hold it down for more than 2 seconds. The maximum operational duration is 47 hours, 59 minutes and seconds. While the chronograph is operating, it is possible to select and use any other watch function at the same time. Return to the Chronograph (CHR) function to stop the chronograph, read the time elapsed and to reset it to zero. If either of the modes ADD or SPLIT is selected, the display shows the following information: Timed period < 1 minute SP or Ad mode - seconds - hundredths i.e.: S H Timed period > 1 minute and < 1 hour Minutes - seconds - hundredths alternately with modes SP or Ad i.e.: M S H Time period > 1 hour and < 48 hours Hours - minutes - seconds alternately with modes SP + hundredths or Ad + hundredths i.e.: H M S H

11 4.8 Using the alarm Select the Alarm (AL) (Fig. 9) Pull out the crown. The numerals start to flash. Display the desired time by turning the crown forwards or backwards (one rapid rotation changes the hours, and one slow rotation changes the minutes). Press the crown back down. The alarm is then set, with AL showing on the display. Note: Since the watch can operate in either 12 hour (AM-PM) mode, or in 24 hour mode, you must bear this in mind when reading the time shown for a second time zone (see 4.1). Test of alarm Press the crown and hold down for more than 2 seconds after first selecting the Alarm (AL) function. The alarm will start to ring at this point. To (de-)activate the alarm, press the crown after first selecting the Alarm (AL) function. alarm set (armed) = AL on lower display alarm not set (disarmed) = OF on lower display Press the crown down to interrupt the alarm.

Anfängliche Einstellungen 1.1 Verwendung der Krone Ihre Multifunktionsuhr mit ETA-Bewegung /432 zeichnet sich durch eine Einstellkrone aus, die durch Drehen den Zugriff auf folgende Funktionen ermöglicht: In neutraler Stellung: Auswahl der verschiedenen Funktionen Herausgezogen: Korrektur der angezeigten Werte. Die Krone kann auch als seitlicher Drücker verwendet werden, um verschiedene Funktionen zu aktivieren oder deaktivieren. Zu diesen Funktionen zählen beispielsweise der Alarm sowie das Starten, Stoppen und Rückstellen des Chronographen. Neutral Gezogen Gedrückt 2. Synchronisation der Analoganzeige (Zeiger) mit der Digitalanzeige (LCD) Nach dem Austauschen der Batterie (in besonderen Fällen auch nach einer Störung) muss die durch die Zeiger angezeigte Uhrzeit wieder mit der durch die Digitalanzeige angezeigten Uhrzeit synchronisiert werden. Hierzu wie folgt vorgehen: Neutrale Funktion auswählen (Abb. 1) (Auf dem Zifferblatt erscheint keine Anzeige). Krone herausziehen. Das Symbol R erscheint im oberen Bereich des Zifferblatts. Die Uhrzeit auf der Digitalanzeige weicht von der Zeigerstellung ab. Krone vor- oder zurückdrehen, bis beide Zeitangaben synchron sind: Durch schnelles Drehen können die Zeiger jeweils eine ganze Stunde vor- oder zurückgestellt werden. Das langsame Drehen der Krone ermöglicht das Einstellen der Minuten. Krone wieder eindrücken. Funktion Ortszeit auswählen. Uhrzeit einstellen (siehe 4.2).

14 4.1 Anzeigearten Die Stunden können auf zwei verschiedene Arten angezeigt werden: Einmal 24 Stunden Zweimal 12 Stunden: AM von Mitternacht bis Mittag und PM von Mittag bis Mitternacht Funktion T2 Uhrzeit der zweiten Zeitzone auswählen (Abb. 6) Einstellen des Anzeigemodus: Krone einmal drücken. Erscheint der Buchstabe A oder P, werden die Stunden im Modus zweimal 12 Stunden angezeigt, Beispiel: Erscheinen die Buchstaben nicht, werden die Stunden im 24-Stunden-Modus angezeigt, Beispiel: Morgen Morgen Abend Abend 4.2 Einstellen der Uhrzeit Stunden und Minuten Die Stunden können auf zwei verschiedene Arten angezeigt werden: Uhr auf den 24-Stunden-Modus einstellen (siehe 4.1). Ortszeit auswählen und anzeigen. Krone herausziehen. Das Symbol T erscheint im oberen Bereich des Zifferblatts. Die Stunden- und Minutenanzeige blinkt. Stellen Sie durch Vor- oder Zurückdrehen der Krone die Uhrzeit ein: Durch schnelles Drehen können die Zeiger jeweils eine ganze Stunde vor- oder zurückgestellt werden. Das langsame Drehen der Krone ermöglicht das Einstellen der Minuten. Krone wieder eindrücken. Kehren Sie bei Bedarf zum 12-Stunden-Anzeigemodus zurück (siehe 4.1). In diesem Fall erscheint zwischen Mittag und Mitternacht das Symbol P neben der Stundenanzeige.

15 4.2.2 Korrektur der Sekundenanzeige Nach dem Einstellen der Uhrzeit (siehe 4.2) bzw. nach einer gewissen Nutzungszeit kann die Uhrzeit leicht abweichen, In diesem Fall kann die Uhrzeit auf die Sekunde genau eingestellt werden. Hierzu wie folgt vorgehen: Ortszeit auswählen und anzeigen. Krone herausziehen. Das Symbol T erscheint im oberen Bereich des Zifferblatts und die Stunden- und Minutenanzeige blinkt. Krone wieder eindrücken. Die Sekundenanzeige blinkt eine Minute lang. Wenn die Sekundenanzeige blinkt, Krone synchron zu einem Zeitsignal bzw. wenn bei einer Referenzuhr die volle Minute erreicht ist, drücken. Die Sekundenanzeige wird auf Null gesetzt. Prüfen, ob die Minutenanzeige mit der aktuellen Uhrzeit übereinstimmt. Minutenanzeige bei Bedarf korrigieren (siehe 4.2). 4.3 Korrektur von Datum und Monat Funktion Sekunden/Datum auswählen (Abb. 3) Krone herausziehen. Die Sekundenanzeige erlischt, und neben dem Datum wird der Monat angezeigt. Die Ziffern blinken. Krone vor- oder zurückdrehen: Durch schnelles Drehen kann der Monat geändert werden. Durch langsames Drehen kann das Datum geändert werden. Krone wieder eindrücken. Die Monatsanzeige erlischt, und die Sekunden werden erneut angezeigt. Achtung: Auch wenn der Monat im Normalbetrieb der Uhr nicht angezeigt wird, muss dieser richtig eingestellt sein, um die korrekte Funktion des ewigen Kalenders bis zum Jahr 2099 zu gewährleisten.

16 4.4 Korrektur des Wochentages Funktion Tag-Datum auswählen (Abb. 4) Krone herausziehen. Anstelle des Datums erscheint ein Buchstabe. Dieser Buchstabe kennzeichnet die Sprache, in der der Tag angezeigt wird: E = Englisch S = Spanisch F = Französisch D = Deutsch Spracheinstellung und Jahr blinken. Krone vor- oder zurückdrehen, um Sprache und Jahr einzustellen: Durch schnelles Drehen der Krone kann die Sprache eingestellt werden. Durch langsames Drehen der Krone kann das Jahr eingestellt werden. Krone wieder eindrücken. Die Anzeige von Sprache und Jahr erlischt, und der Tag und das Datum werden erneut angezeigt. 4.5 Verwendung des Timers Funktion Timer auswählen (Abb. 5) Krone herausziehen. Die Stunden- und Minutenanzeige blinkt. Durch Vor- und Zurückdrehen der Krone die gewünschte Zeit einstellen (Schnelles Drehen ändert die Stunden, langsames Drehen die Minuten). Krone wieder eindrücken. Der Countdown beginnt. Nach Ablauf der eingestellten Zeit ertönt ein Signalton. Krone eindrücken, um den Alarm zu deaktivieren. Hinweis: Der Countdown kann jederzeit abgebrochen werden (Rückstellen des Zählers). Hierzu wie folgt vorgehen: Funktion Timer (TM) auswählen. Krone zwei Sekunden lang gedrückt halten. Der Neustart des Countdowns erfolgt automatisch durch Drücken der Krone.

17 4.6 Zweite Zeitzone Die Uhr ermöglicht neben der Anzeige der Ortszeit auch die Anzeige einer zweiten Zeitzone. Hierzu wie folgt vorgehen: Funktion Zweite Zeitzone auswählen (Abb. 6) Krone herausziehen. Die Stunden- und Minutenanzeige der zweiten Zeitzone blinkt. Zum Ändern wie folgt vorgehen: Krone vor- oder zurückdrehen. Krone wieder eindrücken. Hinweis: Die Sekundenanzeige kann nicht geändert werden. Die Sekunden entsprechen stets der Ortszeit. Die Einstellung der zweiten Zeitzone erfolgt in Schritten von einer halben Stunde. Die Uhr kann auf den Anzeigemodus zweimal 12 Stunden (AM-PM) oder 24 Stunden eingestellt sein. Diese Einstellung ist beim Anzeigen einer zweiten Zeitzone zu berücksichtigen. (siehe 4.1). Wechsel der Zeitzone Wird die Zeitzone geändert oder die Uhr von Winter- auf Sommerzeit(oder umgekehrt) umgestellt, kann die Stundenanzeige um eine oder mehrere Stunden verstellt werden, ohne damit die Minuten- und Sekundenanzeige zu beeinflussen. Hierzu wie folgt vorgehen: Ortszeit auswählen und anzeigen. Krone herausziehen. Das Symbol T erscheint im oberen Bereich des Zifferblatts. Die Stunden- und Minutenanzeige blinkt. Krone schnell vor- oder zurückdrehen. Die Zeiger wandern um eine ganze Stunde vor oder zurück, und die Digitalanzeige folgt. Krone wieder eindrücken. Achtung: Nach dem schnellen Drehen der Krone zum Einstellen der Zeitzone dürfen keine leichten Drehungen der Krone mehr erfolgen.

18 4.7 Verwendung des Chronographen Funktion Chronograph (CHR) im SPLIT- (SP) Modus für eine Zwischenzeit (Abb. 8) oder ADD- (Ad) Modus (Abb. 7) für eine Zeitaddition auswählen. In beiden Modi (ADD und SPLIT) erscheint folgende Anzeige: Es kann jeweils nur einer der Modi SPLIT oder ADD ausgewählt werden. Zähler durch aufeinanderfolgendes Drücken der Krone starten und stoppen. Im Modus SPLIT ergibt jede Wiederholung dieser Operation eine neue Zwischenzeit. Im Modus ADD wird der Zähler jeweils gestartet /gestoppt. Die Rückstellung des Zählers auf Null erfolgt durch ein zwei Sekunden langes Drücken der Krone. Der Messbereich beträgt 47 Stunden, 59 Minuten und 59,99 Sekunden. Bei aktiviertem Chronograph können alle übrigen Uhrenfunktionen ausgewählt und verwendet werden. Zur Funktion Chronograph (CHR) zurückkehren, um den Chronographen zu stoppen, die Zeit abzulesen und den Chronographen zurückzusetzen. In beiden Modi (ADD und SPLIT) erscheint folgende Anzeige: Gemessene Zeit < 1 Minute Modus SP oder ADD - Sekunden Hundertstel Beispiel: Gemessene Zeit > 1 Minute und < 1 Stunde Minuten - Sekunden Hundertstel Je nach Modus SP oder ADD Beispiel: Gemessene Zeit > 1 Stunde und < 48 Stunden Stunden - Minuten Sekunden Je nach Modus SP oder ADD + Hundertstel Beispiel: S H M S H H M S H

19 4.8 Verwendung des Alarms Funktion Alarm (AL) auswählen. (Abb. 9) Krone herausziehen. Die Ziffern blinken Durch Vor- und Zurückdrehen der Krone kann die gewünschte Alarmzeit eingestellt werden (Schnelles Drehen ändert die Stunden, langsames Drehen die Minuten). Krone wieder eindrücken. Der Alarm ist aktiviert. Auf dem Zifferblatt erscheint das Symbol AL. Hinweis: Die Uhr kann auf den Anzeigemodus zweimal 12 Stunden (AM-PM) oder 24 Stunden eingestellt sein. Diese Einstellung ist beim Anzeigen einer zweiten Zeitzone zu berücksichtigen (siehe 4.1). Testen der Alarmfunktion: Funktion Alarm (AL) auswählen und Krone zwei Sekunden lang gedrückt halten. Ein Signalton ertönt.. Zum (De-)Aktiveren des Alarms die Funktion Alarm (AL) auswählen und anschließend die Krone drücken. Anzeige AL = Alarm aktiviert Anzeige OF = Alarm deaktiviert Krone eindrücken, um den Alarm zu deaktivieren.

Sincronización de la pantalla analógica (manecillas) con la pantalla digital (LCD) Después de un cambio de la batería o, excepcionalmente, en el caso de mal funcionamiento, siempre se debe sincronizar la hora indicada con los números digitales en el dial. Para hacer esto: Seleccione la función de neutro (Fig. 1.) (Marque con cifras digitales mostradas). Tire de la corona. El símbolo R aparece en la parte superior del dial. La hora que aparece en la línea es diferente de la hora indicada por las manecillas. Gire la corona en cualquier dirección hasta que las manecillas muestren la misma hora que los números en la pantalla digital: una rotación rápida avanza o retrocede las manecillas una hora completa, una rotación lenta permite el ajuste de minutos que debe corregirse. Pulse la corona hacia abajo. Seleccione la función de hora local. Continúe con el ajuste de tiempo (véase 4.2).

22 4.1 Comprobación y cambio del modo de visualización de la hora Hay 2 modos de visualización de la hora: una vez de 24 horas doble de 12 horas: AM desde la medianoche hasta el mediodía y PM desde el mediodía hasta la medianoche Seleccione la función T2 Segunda zona horaria (Fig. 6) Comprobar el modo de visualización Presione la corona una vez Si aparece la letra A o P, la hora se muestra en el modo de 12 horas, Mañana Tarde es decir: Si no aparece ninguna letra, el tiempo se muestra en el modo de 24 horas, es decir: Mañana Tarde Para cambiar el modo de visualización, pulse dos veces en la corona. 4.2 Ajuste de la hora Horas y minutos Seleccione el modo de visualización de 24 horas (véase 4.1). Seleccione y muestre la hora local. Tire de la corona. El símbolo T aparece en la sección superior del dial y los números para las horas y los minutos parpadean. Ajuste la hora correcta girando la corona hacia atrás o hacia delante: una rotación rápida avanza o retrocede las manecillas una hora completa una rotación lenta permite el ajuste de minutos que debe corregirse. Pulse la corona hacia abajo. Si lo desea, vuelva al modo de visualización de 12 horas (véase 4.1). En este caso, aparece una pequeña letra P entre el mediodía y la medianoche junto con el número de referencia que muestra las horas.

23 4.2.2 Corrección exacta de los segundos Después de que la hora se haya establecido (véase 4.2), o después de un cierto período de tiempo en funcionamiento, si el reloj está mostrando una ligera inexactitud, el tiempo se puede ajustar al segundo exacto. Para hacer esto: Seleccione y muestre la hora local Tire de la corona. El símbolo T aparece en la parte superior del dial y los números para las horas y los minutos parpadean. Pulse la corona hacia abajo. Los números que muestran los segundos parpadearán durante 1 minuto. Mientras que la pantalla de números para segundos esté parpadeando, pulse la corona para sincronizar la hora con un reloj de voz, o compruebe el tiempo que se muestra comparando con un reloj de referencia hasta que se llegue a un minuto completo. La pantalla de números para segundos es puesta a cero. Compruebe que la visualización de los minutos está mostrando exactamente la hora adecuada. Si es necesario, corrija la hora en más/menos una unidad (véase 4.2). 4.3 Ajuste de la fecha y el mes Seleccione la función Segundos/Fecha (Fig. 3) Tire de la corona. Los segundos desaparecen y el número de mes aparecerá junto a la fecha. Los números parpadean Gire la corona hacia atrás o hacia delante: una rotación rápida cambia el mes, una rotación lenta cambia la fecha. Pulse la corona hacia abajo. La pantalla de meses desaparece y vuelve a aparecer la pantalla de segundos. Nota: Incluso si no se muestra el mes, mientras que el reloj se utilice en el modo normal, aún es necesario que sea ajustado, de lo contrario, el calendario continuo no funcionará correctamente. (Hasta 2099).

24 4.4 Corrección del idioma del día Seleccione la función Day-Date (Fig. 4) Tire de la corona. Una letra aparece en lugar de la fecha. Indica el idioma en el que se muestra el día: E = Inglés S = Español F = Francés D = Alemán El idioma y el año parpadean. Gire hacia delante la corona o hacia atrás para obtener el idioma y el año deseado: una rotación rápida cambia el idioma, una rotación lenta cambia el año. Pulse la corona hacia abajo. El día y el idioma desaparecen y el día de la semana y la fecha reaparecen. 4.5 Uso del temporizador Seleccione la función Temporizador (Fig. 5) Tire de la corona. Los números que muestran las horas y los minutos empiezan a parpadear. Muestre la hora deseada girando la corona hacia delante o hacia atrás (una rotación rápida cambia la hora, una rotación lenta cambia los minutos). Pulse la corona hacia abajo. La función de cuenta atrás se inicia y la alarma del reloj suena cuando ha transcurrido el período de tiempo preestablecido. Pulse la corona hacia abajo para detener la alarma. Nota: La función de cuenta atrás se puede cancelar en cualquier momento (poniendo el contador a cero). Para hacer esto: Seleccione la función Temporizador (TM). Presione la corona durante más de 2 segundos. La función de cuenta atrás se activa automáticamente presionando la corona.

25 4.6 Visualización de la hora de otra zona horaria El reloj es capaz de mostrar no sólo la hora local, sino también la hora de una segunda zona horaria. Para hacer esto: Seleccione la función Hora de una segunda zona horaria (Fig. 6) Tire de la corona. Los números que muestran la hora y los minutos para el segundo huso horario comienzan a parpadear. Para cambiar esta configuración: Gire la corona hacia atrás o hacia adelante. Pulse la corona hacia abajo. Nota: La pantalla que muestra los segundos no puede ser alterada.esta pantalla es la misma que la de la hora local. La pantalla de la zona horaria es corregida en múltiplos de 1/2 horas. Como el reloj puede funcionar en modo de 12 horas (AM- PM), o bien en modo de 24 horas, usted debe tener esto en cuenta al leer la hora que se muestra para un segundo huso horario (véase 4.1). Cambiar la zona horaria Siempre que se cambie la zona horaria o siempre que se aprecien cambios de horario entre verano e invierno (y viceversa), usted podrá avanzar o retroceder el tiempo mostrado por las manecillas en cualquier lugar entre una y varias horas sin perder la pantalla que muestra los minutos y los segundos. Para hacer esto: Seleccione y muestre la hora local. Tire de la corona. Las cifras en horas y minutos parpadean y el símbolo T aparece en el dial. Gire la corona hacia atrás o hacia adelante rápidamente. Las manecillas avanzan o retroceden la hora en una hora completa y la pantalla de la hora digital cambia para que coincida con la nueva configuración. Pulse la corona hacia abajo. Nota: No gire la corona de forma gradual después de girarla rápidamente, con el fin de cambiar la configuración de zona horaria.

26 4.7 Usar el cronógrafo Seleccione la función Cronógrafo (CHR) en modo SPLIT (SP) (Fig. 8) - para tiempos intermedios - o ADD modo (Ad) (Fig. 7) - para la adición de tiempo Sólo puede seleccionar una de estas funciones a la vez, es decir, ya sea SPLIT o ADD, pero nunca las dos juntas. Regrese a la función Cronógrafo (CHR) para detener el cronógrafo, lea el tiempo transcurrido y restablezca a cero. Si cualquiera de los modos ADD o SPLIT se selecciona, la pantalla muestra la siguiente información: Período temporizado < 1 minuto Modo SP o Ad - segundos centésimas, es decir: S H Período temporizado > 1 minuto and < 1 hora Minutos - segundos - centésimas alternativamente con los modos SP o Ad, es decir: Período temporizado > 1 hora y < 48 horas Horas - minutos - segundos alternando con modos SP + centésimas o Ad + centésimas, es decir: M S H H M S H

27 4.8 Uso de la alarma Seleccione la opción Alarma (AL) (Fig. 9) Tire de la corona. Los números empiezan a parpadear. Muestre la hora deseada girando la corona hacia delante o hacia atrás (una rotación rápida cambia la hora, y una rotación lenta cambia los minutos). Pulse la corona hacia abajo. Se establece entonces la alarma, con AL mostrado en la pantalla. Nota: Como el reloj puede funcionar en modo de 12 horas (AM- PM), o bien en modo de 24 horas, debe tener esto en cuenta al leer la hora mostrada para una segunda zona horaria (véase 4.1). Prueba de la alarma Presione la corona y manténgala pulsada durante más de 2 segundos después de haber seleccionado primero la función Alarma (AL). La alarma comenzará a sonar en este punto. Para (des-) activar la alarma, pulse la corona después de seleccionar primero la función Alarma (AL). Alarma establecida (armado) = AL en la pantalla inferior Alarma no establecida (desarmada) = OF en la pantalla inferior Pulse la corona hacia abajo para interrumpir la alarma.
