1 FAQ Garuda Indonesia/Etihad Airways Codeshare Flight 1. What is Garuda Indonesia/Etihad Airways Codeshare Flight? It s interline flight which both of these airlines could sell and issued tickets for each other selected networks from their own system. 2. What are the benefits? Passengers who fly with Garuda Indonesia will share the benefits: Passengers are able to choose additional routes and connected by Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi (AUH). The passenger has access only combination flight (single sector prohibited). Currently web booking is available for this product 7. Can through check in be available for passenger? Currently through check in isn t available for this product but only through baggage could be implemented 8. What tickets will passenger hold for this product? Passenger will hold Garuda ticket and but the flight will be operated by Etihad Airways and Garuda Indonesia

4 9. Can group use this codeshare product? No, can t. This product isn t available for group booking 10. Can corporate customer use this codeshare product? No, currently they can t. 11. Do I still have to pay PSC in airport? Yes, passengers have to pay PSC in airport since it is international flight 12. When should I be in airport? Passenger must have been arrived in airport 1 hour before departure time for document verification and check-in your baggage at Check-in Counter and must report to Boarding Gate Officer not less than 45 minutes before departure time. Passengers are encouraged to arrive early at the check-in counter to ensure you have enough time for travel document verification and to exchange your Web Check-in receipt with boarding pass, baggage check-in, security, and other airport formalities. 13. What counter that passenger use for check in? When the next connecting flight is Etihad, the passenger should go to Etihad counter check in and when the next connecting flight is Garuda, passenger should go to Garuda counter check in 14. What should I prepare at the check-in counter in the airport? As a minimum ticket, passport and a valid visa. Make sure your passport validity is 6 months remaining from its expiry date. 15. Do I still have to tell the check-in staff that I will have a codeshare flight? Yes, apparently you do. This is concerning your baggage that eventhough your ticket shows you have a codeshare flight, you need to ensure that your baggage will be labelled with both EY dan GA baggage labels so that it will be checked through. 16. How much is the Free Baggage Allowance (FBA) for this codeshare products? The operating carrier s rule will apply for all baggage point to point journeys. Checked Baggage: Etihad Airways (EY): 1. Diamond First Class 40kg 2. Pearl Business class 30 kg 3. Coral Economy class 23 kg 4. Infant (across all cabins) 23 kg

The operating carrier s rule will also apply. 6 18. How much do I have to pay for any excess baggage weights? Excess baggage rates will be based on Automatic Baggage Rules (ABR) IATA. In the absence of automation system, charges will be calculated at 1.5% of the published full one way economy fares per kilogram. 19.
