7 SECCIÓN 1 - INTRODUCCIÓN INFORMACIÓN GENERAL Este manual proporciona las instrucciones de instalación, funcionamiento y mantenimiento del Desgasificador Vacu-Flo 1200 de Derrick, de la unidad N. DG en adelante (Figura 1-1). El manual se divide en varias secciones para ayudar al usuario a obtener acceso inmediato a la información. Es necesario que el personal responsable de transportar, instalar, hacer funcionar, ajustar o dar mantenimiento a este equipo lea y comprenda la información e instrucciones en este manual. Una copia de este manual debería estar disponible y accesible en la ubicación del equipo. Para una seguridad y desempeño máximos, no se pueden realizar modificaciones y/o adiciones al equipo sin el permiso explícito por escrito de Derrick Corporation. 8 INTRODUCCIÓN SEGURIDAD La Sección 2 de este manual contiene información de seguridad relevante que se relaciona tanto con el funcionamiento como con el mantenimiento de este equipo. Asegúrese de que todo el personal lea y comprenda esta información. NO haga funcionar el equipo si detecta componentes mecánicos o eléctricos defectuosos. USO DEL EQUIPO El desgasificador y sus componentes relacionados están diseñados exclusivamente para liberar gases de las distintas mezclas. Derrick Corporation no autoriza ningún otro uso para este equipo. El uso previsto para el equipo incluye cumplir con los procedimientos de funcionamiento, mantenimiento y seguridad contenidos en este manual. DESCRIPCIÓN Y FUNCIONAMIENTO El desgasificador procesa 1200 galones por minuto (GPM) de lodo de perforación desde el tanque de lodo hasta la conexión de entrada de lodo del desgasificador. Para eliminar la inclusión de gases del líquido de perforación se utiliza una combinación de principios de desgasificación atmosféricos y de vacío. La bomba de vacío produce una condición de baja presión dentro de la cámara, lo que ayuda a liberar las burbujas de gas del lodo. Un motor a prueba de explosiones de dirección de velocidad variable que se ajusta con cada cambio de carga dirige la bomba de vacío. El vacío interior del desgasificador (hasta 29 de mercurio) atrae el lodo hacia arriba, al centro del tubo vertical. El lodo se rociará afuera de los puertos del eyector del tubo vertical sobre las hojas, una serie apilada de deflectores corrugados cónicos. A medida que el lodo se esparce rápidamente hacia afuera, a lo largo de las superficies corrugadas y sobre la pared interior del desgasificador, el gas se escapa hacia el ambiente de presión reducida y la bomba de vacío lo expulsa. El lodo fluye continuamente desde las hojas hasta la acumulación de lodo sin gas en la parte inferior del tanque. Una bomba centrífuga proporcionada por el cliente bombea lodo desde el tanque a través del eyector, lo que continuamente expulsa el lodo sin gas de la cámara. Un mecanismo que responde al nivel del lodo sin gas en la parte inferior de la cámara controla la velocidad del flujo de admisión y el nivel de vacío de la cámara. Una bomba de chorro (eyector) expulsa el lodo sin gas desde la parte inferior de la cámara del desgasificador y lo descarga en el tanque receptor. El desgasificador recibe el líquido de perforación a través de la conexión de alimentación junto a la cámara de vacío (Figura 1-2). Luego que la inclusión de gas se libera de la mezcla, ésta cae al fondo de la cámara de vacío y regresa a la conexión de descarga. Para eliminar el gas del lodo, el desgasificador utiliza el vacío, el impacto/turbulencia y la exposición máxima del área de superficie. Estas características se describen en los siguientes párrafos. Presión baja el ambiente interior de baja presión de la cámara de vacío del desgasificador permite que la inclusión de burbujas de gas en el lodo se expanda de manera natural. A medida que las burbujas de gas se hacen más grandes, éstas flotan con más facilidad, lo que tiende a acercarlas más a la superficie, desde donde es más probable que se liberen del lodo. Impacto/turbulencia forzar el lodo a través de pequeños puertos en el tubo vertical ocasiona que éste choque fuertemente contra las hojas y paredes laterales de la cámara de vacío. La turbulencia resultante expone aún más la inclusión de gas al ambiente de baja presión. Por lo tanto, las burbujas de gas restantes pueden liberarse. Exposición máxima de superficie a medida que el lodo se rocía afuera de los puertos del tubo vertical, éste de distribuye en las delgadas láminas sobre una serie de hojas corrugadas cónicas de septiembre de Degasificador-DG000837

9 INTRODUCCIÓN Las hojas dispersan el lodo, lo que incrementa él área de superficie expuesta al vacío, liberando más la inclusión de gas. COMPONENTES PRINCIPALES Figura 1-2 Diagrama funcional del desgasificador El desgasificador (Figura 1-3) consiste en una cámara de vacío montada sobre una plataforma deslizante, una bomba de vacío accionada por motor eléctrico, una trampa de líquido, un filtro de aire, una válvula de tres vías y un ensamble del eyector instalado por separado. 10 INTRODUCCIÓN Cámara de vacío La cámara de vacío es un tanque de acero con cabeza de domo y tubos de conexión de entrada y salida para transportar líquido hacia y desde el tanque. El desgasificador tiene una sola conexión de entrada del lado izquierdo o derecho para acomodar la disposición general existente de la tubería del cliente. La caja de empalmes eléctricos con contacto de arranque/parada integral está instalada junto a la cámara de vacío. El lado de la cámara tiene un panel de acceso circular que permite la inspección y mantenimiento de los componentes internos. Un conector en la parte superior del tanque se conecta a la bomba de vacío, lo que atrae un vacío de hasta 29 pulgadas de mercurio (Hg) en el interior de la cámara. El tubo vertical en el centro de la cámara tiene una serie de puertos que dispersa el líquido de perforación hacia afuera a gran velocidad sobre las hojas corrugadas cónicas. Un ensamble de flote dentro de la cámara controla el nivel de líquido al activar una válvula de tres vías, que ventila parcialmente la cámara hacia la atmósfera, a medida que el nivel de líquido incrementa. Ensamble del eyector El ensamble del eyector es una bomba de chorro tipo Venturi que retira el lodo sin gas del fondo de la cámara de vacío, enviándolo al tanque de lodo sin gas. El eyector funciona con lodo que sale del mismo tanque de lodo sin gas y que se bombea a través de la boquilla del eyector. Una bomba centrífuga proporcionada por el cliente mantiene un flujo continuo de lodo desde el tanque de succión hacia la boquilla del eyector. El efecto Venturi restringido acelera el lodo a medida que éste fluye a través del eyector, creando una condición de baja presión que atrae el lodo sin gas que está al fondo del desgasificador y lo expulsa hacia el tanque de lodo sin gas. Bomba de vacío La bomba de vacío de dos cilindros de una etapa está instalada en la plataforma rodante que está junto a la cámara de vacío. Una manguera flexible conecta la entrada de la bomba al conector en la parte superior de la cámara de vacío. Al haber un vacío dentro de la cámara, la bomba crea un sifón que atrae el líquido hacia el tanque y lo eleva hacia el tubo vertical. La bomba funciona continuamente, a medida que la válvula de tres vías instalada en la cámara de vacío controla el vacío de la cámara. La bomba accionada por correas mediante un motor eléctrico a prueba de explosiones de 5HP es capaz de formar un vacío de 29" Hg dentro de la cámara. Para una versatilidad óptima, el motor está disponible en una variedad de configuraciones de energía de tres fases, que incluye 240/480Vac 60Hz, 190/380Vac 50Hz, 575Vac 60Hz y 415Vac 50Hz El arranque del motor en la caja de empalmes eléctricos suministra energía al motor de dirección. Por seguridad, se recomienda tener un interruptor de apagado de emergencia entre el suministro eléctrico del cliente y el arranque. El lado de entrada de cada cilindro de la bomba está conectado a un distribuidor en común, y las salidas también comparten un distribuidor de salida en común. Durante el recorrido de succión, el gas sale de la cámara del desgasificador a través del distribuidor de entrada y las válvulas de entrada de los cilindros hacia los cilindros. En el recorrido de compresión, la válvula de entrada se cierra y la válvula de salida se abre, lo que permite que el gas se escape a través del distribuidor de salida de septiembre de Degasificador-DG000837

11 Trampa de líquido y filtro de gas INTRODUCCIÓN Una trampa de líquido (Figura 1-4) se instala en el conducto de succión para proteger a la entrada de la bomba del líquido expulsado de la cámara de vacío. El gas expulsado a través de la parte superior de la cámara de vacío fluye hacia abajo y a través de la trampa de líquido antes de entrar al filtro de aire. En la trampa de líquido, cualquier líquido en el flujo de gas cae al fondo de la trampa, mientras que el gas sale por el conector superior hacia el filtro de aire. La trampa contiene una válvula de flote que cierra el puerto de salida si el nivel de líquido incrementa excesivamente. Al lado de la trampa se encuentra una válvula de drenaje para facilitar la eliminación periódica de humedad. El filtro de gas está instalado entre la trampa de líquido y la válvula de tres vías. El gas libre de humedad que sale de la trampa de líquido se filtra antes de fluir hacia la entrada de la bomba. El filtro protege la entrada de la bomba de las partículas que podrían ocasionar el desgaste prematuro de los componentes internos de la bomba. 12 INTRODUCCIÓN Válvula de tres vías La válvula de tres vías (Figura 1-5) está instalada en la cámara de vacío, detrás de la bomba de vacío. Su propósito es controlar la presión existente dentro de la cámara de vacío, junto con el nivel de líquido, al dividir el gas que sale de la cámara entre la bomba de vacío y el respiradero. Un brazo de control conectado al flote que está dentro de la cámara hace funcionar la válvula. Durante el funcionamiento del desgasificador, el mecanismo articulado de flote mueve el carrete de la válvula hacia arriba y hacia abajo, en respuesta a los diferentes niveles de líquido. Un incremento en el nivel de líquido coloca el carrete de la válvula de tal manera que ventila más gas a medida que se reduce el flujo de gas hacia la bomba de vacío. Esto hace que la presión de la cámara incremente, reduciendo el efecto de sifón y reduciendo la velocidad de flujo del líquido atraído hacia la cámara. A medida que baja el nivel, la válvula reduce la ventilación mientras envía más gas a la bomba de vacío, lo que reduce entonces la presión de la cámara, incrementando el sifón y permitiendo que entre más líquido a la cámara. Las MSDS contienen los procedimientos de primeros auxilios en caso de emergencia, precauciones especiales, números telefónicos de emergencia y otros datos relevantes. Estos documentos los preparó el fabricante del producto, que es el único responsable de la veracidad de la información.
