In addition the Fingerprinting Department completed background checks on approximately 10,000 new clergy, employees and volunteers. 4 We are in a battle for LIFE here in California. SB 128, the bill to legalize assisted suicide, passed the Senate Health and Judiciary Committees and is headed to the Senate floor for a vote. NOW is the time to urge your state Senators to vote NO on SB 128. Take two minutes to call or write your CA Senator. They left a heart with their name on it please take one home and pray for that special child. Thank you for your support. Religious Education will conclude its Catechetical year with the Praying of the Rosary and the Crowning of Mary on May 9 th.
