2 Montse Caraballo Montse Caraballo (1977) pintora, dibujante y diseñadora. Su trabajo abarca diferentes diciplinas, lo que le permite llevar el diseño al lienzo y la pintura al azulejo. Pero sobre todo, destaca la precisión y energía de su dibujo, en este caso de animales. Poseé una portentosa imaginación donde da riendas suelta a un rico discurso imaginario, construido a base de un juego de imágenes que encajan como un puzzle para formar un todo. Ordenadas representaciones donde la construcción final es un emblema o icono que domina la composición. Como si un espejo atravesara el eje de la obra, los emblemas se rigen por una disciplina simétrica. Su obra transmite un enorme sentido espiritual que nace del subconsciente. Trabaja directamente sobre el papel o el lienzo sin apoyo gráfico, todo sale de su imaginación. Es asombroso ver el dominio que ha conseguido a la hora de representar figurativamente los distintos elementos a los que se enfrenta. Nace y vive en Sevilla. Estudió Bellas Artes en Santa Isabel de Hungría, Sevilla y se licenció en Diseño y Grabado. Creó junto a otros compañeros una asociación para la dinamización del arte andaluz; BLITZ con la que publicaron una revista y múltiples comisariados de eventos y exposiciones. Desde entonces ha compaginado la Pintura y el Dibujo con la Ilustración y el Diseño. Realizando exposiciones en varias ciudades de España, durante siete años en la Galería Nielson de Grazalema y también en el extranjero; Holanda, EEUU e India, en este último país realizó una residencia artística en el año 2012 (New Delhi), y también residencias en Extremadura, Cádiz (Línea de Costa). Actualmente es artista colaboradora de la galería Cavecanem, Sevilla. Montse Caraballo (1977) painter, Illustrator and designer. She studied fine arts in Santa Isabel de Hungría, Seville and graduated in design and engraving. Along with other colleagues created an Association for the promotion of Andalusian art; BLITZ that published a magazine and multiple Commissioners of events and exhibitions. Since then he has combined painting and drawing with the illustration and design. Carrying out exhibitions in various cities in Spain, over seven years in the Nielson Gallery of Grazalema and also abroad; Netherlands, USA, India in the latter country carried out an artist residency in the year 2012 (New Delhi), and also residences in Extremadura, Cádiz (Waterfront).
