1 TERMS and CONDITIONS The 2nd Ajayu International Animated Short Film Festival, which will take place from November 8 th to 11 th, 2017, in Puno, Peru, this new edition consolidates the work done in the activities of the first festival, being an option of cultural decentralization in Peru. The Ajayu Festival is a window so that the world of animation can be seen taking advantage of the celebrated days of the city of Puno, generating diverse public through its projections, talks and workshops. Ajayu is also a window so that the world of animation can be seen, seeking to revalue this artistic expression, through the cultural exchange embodied in the animation, the organizers summon audiovisual artists from all over the world to participate in the 2nd INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL ANIMATED AJAYU (hereinafter The Festival ), taking into account the following parameters: 1. Short films animated by training workshops. 5. The period for presenting the short films will be from June 21 st to September 10 th in The short films sent after the deadline will not be considered. The selection process will be in the month of October. And the following deadlines will be taken into account: Early Registration June 21 through July 10 th, 2017 Regular Registration July 11 through August 27 th, 2017 Late Registration August 28 through September 10 th, 2017

2 6. Registration for Peruvian and Latin American short films is free. And for short films animated by training workshops, free registration until August 27 th. 7. The short film in contest must contain: 1 director s photograph 2 photographs from the film with a minimum quality of 300 dpi. An image of the poster of the film (if there is one). Trailer of the short film (if there is one). Website or social network of the film (if it has them). 8. The director and/or producer of the short films authorize that their works are to be stored in the video library of AJAYU and displayed in future itinerant shows. 9. The director and / or producer of the selected short film authorizes the organizing committee to publish on the Internet an online platform of the Festival for 4 days (from November 8 th to 11 th ). The short film will participate in the contest for Best Animation Award of the public being part of the Virtual program, access will be restricted by the purchase of tikets. 10. The short films must not surpass the 20 minutes in length. If this length is exceeded, the short film will be eliminated. The decision of eliminating a work from the contest will depend on the organizers. 11. The short films sent for the contest could be used for the promotion of the event (Using part of the video, not all), the directors must be the authors of original material and they commit not to present any audiovisual material that they do not own or that they have no right on. The organizers do not take any responsibility for the works presented or the misuse of the copyrights from the original authors. 12. The best Peruvian animation short film will be awarded with a cash sum of three thousand soles (S/. 3000,000). 13. The material received will be preselected by a Programmer and his assistants designated by the organizing committee of the Festival. The official selection is divided as follows: Official Selection in Competition: International Official Selection, Official Selection of Peruvian short films, Official Selection of Latin American, Official selection of thesis or graduation, Official Selection of Training Workshops and Official Selection Great Ajayu Award of the Jury. Official Exhibition Selection: International Official Selection, Official selection of thesis or graduation. 14. Short films that are part of animated series transmitted through national means in the country of origin or in other countries are not considered in competition.

The Official Selection in Competition and Exhibition will be published on October 10 th, 2017 on the website and the corresponding laurels will be sent by The jury will be established by the organizers among renowned personalities from the cinema and animation who will decide the prizes to the competitive categories. 17. The category of Best Animation Prize of the Public, will be chosen by voting in the online platform of the Festival, and the vote for amphoras distributed in the different rooms during the dates of the festival. 18. The Special Mention for Best Animation of Training Workshops will be established by the members of the Ajayu Animation Collective. 19. The prizes will be divided as follows: Best International animation (trophy and resolution emitted by a public entity) Best Peruvian animation (Economic Prize, Trophy and resolution emitted by a public entity) Best Latin American animation (Resolution emitted by a public entity) Best graduation animation (Resolution emitted by a public entity) Special mention for Best 2D animated short films (Certification) Special Mention for best CGI animated short films (Certification) Special Mention for Best Stop Motion short films (Certification) Special Mention for Best Collage Short Film (Certificado) Special Mention for Best Formation Workshop short film. Best Animation Award from the public (Resolution emitted by a public entity) Great Ajayu Award given by the jury (Trophy and resolution emitted by a public entity) 20. Short films that have been part of the Official Selection in competition or Exhibition of previous editions of the AJAYU festival will be automatically disqualified. 21. The decision of the jury will be unappealable and the prizes can be declared deserted in case the quality of the material is not met by the standards of the jury. 22. The award ceremony will be held in the closure of the event, on November 11th, The winners are committed to incorporate in their start credits the prize obtained accompanied by the Laurel Festival.

4 BASES y CONDICIONES El 2 Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Animados Ajayu que se realizará del 8 al 11 de Noviembre del 2017, en Puno Perú, en esta nueva edición consolida el trabajo realizado en las actividades del primer festival, siendo una opción de descentralización cultural en Perú. El Festival Ajayu es una ventana para que el mundo de la animación pueda hacerse ver aprovechando los días celebres de la ciudad de Puno, generando público diverso mediante sus proyecciones, charlas y talleres. Ajayu es también una ventana para que el mundo de la animación pueda hacerse ver, buscando revalorar esta expresión artística, mediante el intercambio cultural plasmado en la animación, los organizadores convocan a artistas audiovisuales de cualquier parte del mundo a participar del 2º FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CORTOMETRAJES ANIMADOS AJAYU (en adelante El Festival ), tomando en cuenta los siguientes parámetros: 1. Participan aquellos cortometrajes animados realizados desde Los trabajos solo podrán enviarse de manera online a: html 2. Las realizaciones pueden ser de cualquier nacionalidad. Los cortometrajes en idiomas que no sean en español, deberán ser subtitulados y estos subtítulos deberán estar en formato.srt en español y/o inglés. 3. Se aceptarán hasta tres obras por realizador. 4. El Festival tiene las siguientes categorías: Cortometrajes de animación Internacional. Cortometrajes de animación peruana. Cortometrajes de animación latinoamericana. Cortometrajes animados de Tesis o de Graduación. Cortometrajes animados de talleres formativos. 5. El plazo de recepción será desde el 21 de Junio hasta el 10 de Setiembre del Los cortometrajes remitidos después de la fecha no serán considerados, la selección se realizará en el mes de Octubre. Y se tomará en cuenta los siguientes plazos: Inscripción Temprana 21 de junio hasta el 10 de julio del 2017 Inscripción Regular 11 de julio hasta el 27 de agosto del 2017 Inscripción Tardía 28 de agosto hasta el 10 de setiembre 2017

5 6. La inscripción para cortometrajes peruanos y latinoamericanos son gratuitas. Y para Cortometrajes animados de talleres formativos inscripción gratuita hasta el 27 de Agosto. 7. El cortometraje en concurso deberá contener: Una fotografía del director/es. Dos fotografías del corto con una calidad mínima de 300 dpi. Una imagen del afiche del cortometraje (si lo tiene). Tráiler del cortometraje (si lo tiene). Página o redes sociales (Si lo tiene) 8. El director y/o productor del cortometraje autoriza que la misma sea incluida en la videoteca de AJAYU y en futuras muestras itinerantes. 9. El director y/o productor del cortometraje seleccionado autoriza al comité organizador publicar en internet a una plataforma online del Festival por 4 días (del 08 al 11 de Noviembre). El cortometraje participará en el concurso a Mejor animación Premio del público Siendo parte del programa Virtual cuyo acceso será restringido mediante la compra de tikets. 10. Los cortometrajes no deben superar los 20 (veinte) minutos. La obra quedará fuera de competencia si supera este límite. La decisión de proyectar el trabajo fuera de competencia dependerá de la organización. 11. Los cortometrajes enviados podrán ser usados para la promoción del Festival (utilizando parte del video, no su totalidad), los directores deben ser autores de los cortometrajes y se comprometen a no presentar materiales audiovisuales y/o fonografías sobre los que no tengan derechos de uso. La organización del Festival no se responsabiliza de las obras ni del uso inadecuado de los derechos de propiedad intelectual por parte de los autores. 12. Se premiará al mejor cortometraje de animación peruana con una suma en efectivo de tres mil soles (S/.3000,000). 13. El material recibido será preseleccionado por el Programador y sus asistentes designados por el comité organizador del Festival. La selección oficial se divide de la siguiente forma: Selección Oficial en Competencia: Selección Oficial internacional, Selección Oficial de cortometrajes peruanos, Selección Oficial Latinoamericano, Selección Oficial de tesis o graduación, Selección Oficial de Talleres Formativos y Selección Oficial Gran Premio Ajayu del Jurado. Selección Oficial en Exhibición: Selección Oficial internacional, Selección Oficial de tesis o graduación 14. No se considerarán en competencia cortometrajes que formen parte de series animadas transmitidas por medios de alcance nacional en el país de origen o en otros

6 países. 15. La Selección Oficial en Competencia y en Exhibición se publicará el 10 de octubre del 2017 en la página web y se enviarán los laureles correspondientes por correo electrónico. 16. El Jurado será establecido por la organización, entre personalidades destacadas del cine y animación, quienes decidirán los premios a las categorías competitivas. 17. La categoría de Mejor animación Premio del Público, será elegida mediante voto en la plataforma online del Festival, y el voto por ánforas repartidas en las distintas salas durante las fechas del festival. 18. La Mención especial a Mejor animación de Talleres formativos lo establecerán los integrantes del Colectivo de Animación Ajayu. 19. Los premios estarán divididos de la siguiente manera: Mejor animación Internacional (Trofeo y resolución emitida por una entidad Mejor animación Peruana (Premio Económico, Trofeo y resolución emitida por una entidad Mejor animación latinoamericana (Resolución emitida por una entidad Mejor animación de Tesis o de Graduación (Resolución emitida por una entidad Mención Especial Mejor Corto Animación 2D (Certificado). Mención Especial Mejor Corto Animación CGI (Certificado). Mención Especial Mejor Corto Stop Motion (Certificado). Mención Especial Mejor Corto Collage o mixto (Certificado). Mención Especial Mejor animación de Talleres Formativos. Mejor animación Premio del público (Resolución emitida por una entidad Gran Premio Ajayu del Jurado (Trofeo y resolución emitida por una entidad 20. Los cortometrajes inscritos que hayan sido parte de la selección Oficial en competencia o Exhibición de ediciones anteriores del festival AJAYU serán automáticamente descalificados. 21. El fallo del Jurado será inapelable y los premios pueden declararse desiertos en caso que no cumplan la calidad establecida por el jurado. 22. La premiación se realizará durante la jornada de clausura del Festival, el 11 de noviembre del Los ganadores se comprometen a incorporar en sus créditos de inicio el premio obtenido acompañado del laurel del Festival.
