3 CUTTING METHODS FOR SANTA LUZIA PRODUCTS ENGLISH SEAMS IN PROFILES MERGER - When starting to install Santa Luzia Mouldings on wide walls, you may need to combine multiple profiles. For that, cut the profiles edges in 5º degrees (5º Angle). - Connect the profiles in a way one cut covers completely the other. 90º DEGREES SEAMS FOR WALL CORNERS - Cut the merging profiles in 5º degrees, starting with the main face. - One of the profiles need to be cut backwards for joining with the other. After performing the cuts, place the profiles together on the wall corner to make sure the angle is closed. After that, set the profiles. TOP FINISHING Before starting all cuts, place profiles edges at a 90º degrees angle. - Make a 5º degrees cut with the baseboard in the horizontal position. Keep the small piece left, this piece must have one side cut at 5º and the other side at 90º degrees, it s this piece that will make the top finishing. Turn the profile and cut the other side also at 5º degrees, starting by the main face. Note: The cut distance must be equal to the profile thickness. - Apply super glue, moisture resistant, to the two pieces cut in angle (small piece and bar). - Connect the two pieces cut in angle with instant glue.

4 INSTALLATION METHOD NON LOAD BEARING WALLS GLUE AND DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE - With a cloth, remove all the wall dust. - Make the necessary cut, according to the cut method of this manual. - With the aid of a cloth, remove all waste from the bar. - Apply small pieces of approximately ½" with spacing between the tapes of maximum 5". MAXIMUM SPACING 5" Figure 0 - maximum space between tapes. Note: For a better setting, use double-sided tape with a minimum width of ½". RECOMMENDED MINIMUM SIZE ½" 5 ½" Figure 0 - Minimum size recommended for double-sided tape After double-sided tape application, take the glue and apply behind the profiles, making two lines parallel with the wire path slot on the moulding. Note: Profiles with more than inches, it s recommended three parallel lines of glue Now place the profile in the installation position and press against the wall. For a better result, use your hand or rubber hammer. 7 - Use instant glue, moisture resistant, at the profiles seams. 8 - Make the finishing, according to the FINISH METHOD of this manual.

5 INSTALLATION METHOD LOAD BEARING WALLS ENGLISH NAILER GUN AND GLUE - With a cloth, remove all the wall dust. - Make the necessary cut, according to the cut method of this manual. - With the aid of a cloth, remove all waste from the bar. - Take the glue and apply on the profiles back, making two lines parallel with the wire path slot on the moulding. Profiles with more than inches, it s recommended three parallel lines of glue. Use instant glue on the profiles seams. 5 - Now place the profile in the installation position and press against the wall. For a better result, use your hand or rubber hammer Now with the aligned profile and already pre-settled with glue, apply the first nail at a inches distance from one of the edges, in the middle of the profile. Apply the remaining nails, also at the middle, with a 5" spacing between them. At the other profile edge, repeat step nº. Note: Use ½" to " nails, maximum with 0,mm diameter. 6 Caution: Take care not to apply the nail in the height of wire path slot, located on the profile back, this way avoiding cracks or breakage. 7 DO NOT APPLY NAIL ON WIRE PATH SLOT Figure 0 - Do not apply nail on wire path slot Use instant glue at the profiles seams. 8 - Make the finishing, according to the FINISH METHOD of this manual.

6 INSTALLATION METHOD FOR PLINTHS BLOCKS AND ROSETTES ENGLISH USE GLUE - With a cloth, remove all the wall and piece dust. - Apply a thick layer of glue across the piece rear. - Place the piece very close to the wall and align it against the floor. - Press firmly against the wall for a better adherence. FINISH METHOD FOR SANTA LUZIA PRODUCTS FINISHING WITH CAULKING and - After installation of all profiles, for a better finish, make the seams finishing with caulking. - If necessary, also apply caulk against the wall to remove any possible imperfections. - With the aid of a damp cloth, remove caulk excess.

9 MÉTODOS DE CORTES DE LOS PRODUCTOS SANTA LUZIA ESPAÑOL FUSION DE LOS PERFILES EN LAS JUNTURAS - Empezando a instalar las molduras de Santa Luzia en paredes largas, va a necesitar usar varios perfiles. Para esto hay que cortar los perfiles en angulos de 5 grados. - Conectar los perfiles de manera que un corte cubra completamente al otro. JUNTURAS DE 90º GRADOS PARA LAS ESQUINAS - Cortar las junturas de los perfiles ambos en 5º grados empezando con la cara principal. - Uno de los perfiles necesita ser cortado al revés para que asi puedan ser unidos el uno al otro después de realizar los cortes, a continuación junte los perfiles en la esquina para asegurar que estos se cierren perfectamente. ACABADO FINAL Antes de iniciar los cortes, ponga los filos de los perfiles en un angulo de 90º grados. - Realice un corte de 5º grados con el zócalo en posición horizontal. Quedarse con el pedazo cortado, este pedazo debe tener un lado cortado a 5º grados y el otro a 90º grados, este es el pedazo que será el del acabado final. De vuelta el perfil y corte el otro lado también en 5º grados, empezando en la cara principal. Nota: El corte tiene que ser igual al espesor del perfil. - Aplicar super glue o la gotita, resistente a humedad. A los dos pedazos cortados en angulo ( el pedazo chico y el resto del zócalo) - Conectar las dos piezas cortadas en angulo con pegamento instantáneo.

10 MÉTODO DE INSTALACIÓN EN PAREDES PORTANTES PEGAMENTO Y CINTA CON PEGAMENTO DE DOS CARAS - Con un pano, remueva toda suciedad de las paredes. - Realice los cortes necesarios, de acuerdo al método de corte en este manual. - Con la ayuda del pano, remueva toda suciedad de las barras a aplicar. - Aplique pedazos pequenos de aproximadamente ½" con un espacio entre las cintas de un máximo de 5 pulgadas. ESPACIO MÁXIMO 5" Figura 0 - Espacio máximo entre pedazos de cinta. Nota: Para mejor ajuste, use cinta adhesiva de dos caras con un minimo ancho de ½ pulgada. MINIMO ANCHO RECOMENDADO 5 ½" ½" Figura 0 - Tamaño minimo recomendado para cinta de doble cara Despues de aplicar la cinta de doble cara, tome la pistola con pegamento y aplique detrás de la moldura haciendo dos lineas paralelas. Nota: Para perfiles de mas de pulgadas se recomienda usar lineas paralelas de pegamento. 6 - Ahora ponga el perfil en la posición de instalación y presione contra la pared. Para un buen resultado use su mano o un martillo de goma. 7 - Use pegamento instantáneo, resistente a humedad en los juntes de los perfiles. 8 - Realise el terminado de acuerdo al método de acabado final de este manual.

11 MÉTODO DE INSTALACIÓN EN PAREDES PORTANTES ESPAÑOL PISTOLA DE CLAVOS Y PEGAMENTO - Con un pano, remueva toda suciedad de las paredes. - Haga los cortes necesarios de acuerdo al método de cortes de este manual Con la ayuda de un pano remueva la suciedad del perfil. - Tome el pegamento y aplique en la parte de atrás de los perfiles en dos lineas paralelas a la ranura de las molduras. Perfiles de mas de pulgadas se recomienda aplicar lineas paralelas de pegamento y use pegamento instantáneo en las junturas. 5 - Ahora ponga el perfil en la posición de instalación y presione contra la pered y para mejor resultado use la mano o un martillo de goma. 6 - Ahora con el perfil ya nivelado y con el pegamento puesto, aplique el primer clavo a dos pulgadas de distancia de uno de los filos, en el medio del perfil. Aplique el resto de los clavos también al medio con un espacio de 5 pulgadas de espacio entre ellos. Al otro extremo repita el paso numero. Nota: Use clavos de ½ a pulgadas máximo con 0, mm de diámetro. Advertencia: No clave a la altura de la ranura en la parte de atrás del perfil, de esta manera se evitaran roturas. 7 NO CLAVE EN LAS RANURAS DE ATRAS DE LOS PERFILES Figura 0 - No aplicar clavo en la ranura de la parte de atrás Use pegamento instantáneo en las junturas de los perfiles. 8 - Ejecute el acabado de acuerdo al método de acabado final de este manual.

12 MÉTODO DE INSTALACIÓN DE ZÓCALINES Y ROSETAS ESPAÑOL USANDO PEGAMENTO - Con un pano limpio, remover toda suciedad de las paredes. - Aplicar una capa gruesa de pegamento en la parte posterior. - Ponga la pieza muy cerca a la pared y apoye contra el piso. - Presione firmemente contra la pared para mejor adherencia. MÉTODO DE ACABADO PARA PRODUCTOS SANTA LUZIA ACABADO CON CALAFATE y - Despues de instalar los perfiles, para un acabado mejor, termine las junturas con calafate. - Si fuera necesario, tambien aplique calafate en la pared para asi arreglar cualquier imperfeccion. - Con la ayuda de un paño humedo, remueva el exeso de calafate.
