1 Nombre Hora Los Verbos Reflexivos Apuntes y Práctica Parte 1: Infinitives in Spanish end in / - / -. When infinitives have on the end of them, they are called verbs. The se usually means. To conjugate a reflexive verb: Take the off the end of the verb Put it in front of the verb Change se to the correct reflexive pronoun depending on the subject Conjugate the verb to also match the subject These are the REFLEXIVE PRONOUNS for the yo form for the tú form for the, él, ella form for the nosotros form for the vosotros form for, ellos, ellas form Práctica 1A: Fill in the blank with the correct reflexive pronoun. Notice that the second part of the verb is conjugated with the correct ending for ar/-er/-ir verbs to match the subject and the reflexive pronoun. 3 Práctica 1E: Practice conjugating these verbs. Remember to: 1. place the appropriate reflexive pronoun in front 2. then conjugate as you would any other verb. 4 Apuntes y Práctica Parte 2: You can t have 2 verbs together. The first verb will be conjugated and the second verb is in the (-ar/-er/-ir) form. When the second verb is a verb (-se on the end), you need to add a reflexive. The pronoun can go of the conjugated verb or attached to the of the infinitive. I am going to shower. Yo voy a duchar. OR Voy a duchar. We have to lie down. tenemos que acostar. OR Tenemos que acostar. You (fam.) want to fall asleep. quieres dormir. OR Quieres dormir. Paco can get ready. Paco puede preparar. 5 In Spanish, verbs ( are / are not ) conjugated after a preposition (even though in English we do!) So when a verb is after a preposition, the correct reflexive needs to be attached to the end of the infinitive. (In other words, even though the infinitive does not change forms, the reflexive pronoun still needs to match the subject of the sentence!) Ejemplo: Después de despertarme, me baño y me cepillo los dientes. Prepositions: después de : antes de: para: Práctica 2B: Write the following sentences in Spanish.
