2 PUBLIC MEETING AGENDA 5:00 PM 7:00 PM Open House (Exhibit Viewing) The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) proposes operational improvements to the FM 659 (Zaragoza Road)/Montwood Drive/ Loop 375 Intersection. A project location map is included in this handout. The purpose of the proposed Project is to provide connectivity, with the extension of FM 659 (Zaragoza Road), between Loop 375 and Montwood Drive. Improvements also include illumination, bicycle lanes, and sidewalks within the project limits. The proposed project is located on both existing right-of-way and approximately 4.90 acres of new right-of-way. The proposed project will improve traffic operations by reducing weaving movements, improve bicycle and pedestrian access in the area through the addition of bike lanes and sidewalks, and improve connectivity/operations at the FM 659 (Zaragoza Road)/Montwood Drive/Loop 375 Intersection. 4 Reunión Pública AGENDA NOTAS: 5:00 PM 7:00 PM EXHIBICIÓN El Departamento de Transporte de Texas (TxDOT, por sus siglas en inglés) distrito de El Paso realizará una reunión pública para las mejoras propuestas a la intersección de FM 659 (Calle Zaragoza/Calle Montwood/y Loop 375): El propósito del proyecto propuesto es de proveer conectividad, por medio de la extensión de FM 659 (Calle Zaragoza), entre Loop 375 y la Calle Montwood. Mejoras también incluirían alumbrado público, carriles para bicicletas, y banquetas dentro de los límites del proyecto. El proyecto propuesto se encuentra en derecho de vía existente así como en aproximadamente 4.90 acres de derecho de vía nuevo. El proyecto propuesto mejorara el acceso peatonal así como de bicicletas en el área por medio de la adición de carriles para bicicletas y banquetas, y mejoraría la conectividad y operaciones en la intersección de FM 659 (Calle Zaragoza)/ Calle Montwood/ y Loop 375.
