1 Constelaciones Revista de arquitectura de la Universidad CEU San Pablo Constelaciones es la revista de Arquitectura de la Escuela Politécnica Superior de la Universidad CEU San Pablo de Madrid. La publicación tiene carácter internacional y periodicidad anual, y se ha concebido bajo los criterios de calidad editorial necesarios para su futura indexación, una vez consolidada. Se publican artículos científicos de diferentes áreas de conocimiento, sin la imposición previa de un tema, con la idea de dibujar, a posteriori, una constelación sobre los textos recibidos. También incluye reseñas bibliográficas de libros de interés publicados recientemente. NORMAS EDITORIALES 1. Secciones a) Artículos. Constituyen el cuerpo central de la revista, resumiendo resultados de investigación de distintas áreas de conocimiento. b) Reseña de libros. Recensiones a textos de reciente aparición que resumen y exponen un análisis crítico de su contenido. 2. Requisitos de los artículos a) Admisión de originales. Todos los originales recibidos serán analizados como mínimo por dos evaluadores externos, cuyas sugerencias se enviarán a los autores para que realicen las modificaciones pertinentes. Sólo se aceptarán trabajos originales que no hayan sido publicados anteriormente en otras revistas. El remitente se hace responsable del contenido del texto y la veracidad de la información que figure en el mismo. La inclusión consciente de datos fraudulentos o inexactos supone un comportamiento falto de ética e implicará el rechazo automático de los trabajos. b) Encabezamiento. El título de los trabajos se incluirá en español e inglés. Seguidamente se indicará nombre y apellido del autor o autores (con un máximo de tres autores), universidad y una dirección de correo electrónico de la persona de contacto. c) Resumen. Los artículos deberán ir acompañados de un resumen en español e inglés (150 palabras, cada uno, como máximo) que señale los objetivos, el planteamiento y conclusiones del trabajo.

2 d) Palabras clave. Se incluirán al menos 4 palabras clave, en español y en inglés, tras el resumen inicial. e) Redacción del texto. Se recomienda una extensión de los originales de palabras (título, resumen, citas y bibliografía incluidas). FECHA LÍMITE DE RECEPCIÓN DE ORIGINALES PARA EL NÚMERO 1: 30 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE f) Referencias bibliográficas y citas. Se seguirá el sistema autor-año prescindiendo de referencias completas en el cuerpo del texto o las notas a pie, donde solo aparecerá una referencia breve al autor y año de la publicación de la obra citada, y reuniendo todas las obras citadas en un apartado final. El formato de las referencias será el siguiente: Monografías: APELLIDOS, Nombre (Año de edición) Titulo del capítulo, Titulo de la obra Editorial, Ciudad de Edición. Artículos: APELLIDOS, Nombre (Año de publicación) Titulo del artículo, Titulo de la publicación, Localización en el documento: volumen, número, páginas. Páginas web: APELLIDOS, Nombre (Año de publicación) Titulo del texto o página disponible en dirección url, fecha de consulta. Las citas en el texto se harán mediante números entre paréntesis. Las referencias citadas se incluirán siempre a la terminación del trabajo, numeradas correlativamente. g) Tablas, figuras y fotografías. Estarán numeradas correlativamente según figuren en el texto; cada figura tendrá su pie explicativo. Se indicará el lugar aproximado de colocación de cada figura. Las tablas, figuras y fotografías se mandarán en archivos aparte. Ver punto i.4. h) Traducción. Una vez el artículo ha sido definitivamente aceptado para su publicación, el autor dispondrá de un plazo de dos semanas si desea enviar la correspondiente traducción del mismo al inglés. Se deberá traducir el texto íntegro, títulos, citas, bibliografía y pies de foto. La Dirección de la Revista procederá a la revisión de los textos en inglés y rechazará aquellos que no alcancen el nivel requerido para su publicación. i) Presentación. 3 El autor deberá remitir la siguiente información: 1. Copia en formato.doc o.rtf con las páginas numeradas (con las imágenes situadas en la posición correspondiente en el texto). 2. Impresión en formato.pdf del anterior archivo 3. Impresión parcial en formato.pdf para su envío a los revisores; el autor debe eliminar los datos completos del autor, organización y dirección de correo electrónico de contacto. 4. Las imágenes se remitirán tanto insertas en el texto en su posición y tamaño correspondiente como en archivos independientes, numerados por orden de aparición en el texto. Se aceptan los formatos.jpg,.tiff,.pdf, o.eps. La resolución mínima será de 300 ppp. para imágenes en escala de grises, 600 ppp. para imágenes en blanco y negro y 800 ppp. para imágenes correspondientes a dibujos de línea, en el tamaño que el autor desee que aparezcan publicadas. Constelaciones is the International Journal of Architecture of the Universidad CEU San Pablo. The publication is annually published with an international character and is designed under the higher editorial criteria for its future indexing, once launched. It includes scientific articles from different areas of knowledge, without the prior imposition of an issue and the idea of drawing a constellation on the received articles. It also includes reviews of recently published architectural books. GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS 1. Journal Sections a) Research Articles. Articles are the main body of the Journal and summarize results from ongoing research in different areas of knowledge. b) Book Reviews. Reviews of a recently published book to summarize and analyze contents. 2. Manuscripts preparation a) Submission of papers. Papers will be reviewed using a double-blind review procedure, whose suggestions will be sent to the authors to make the relevant changes. Only original papers that have not been previously published will be accepted. The author is responsible for the content of the essay and the veracity of the information contained therein. Aware of fraudulent or inaccurate data inclusion means lacking in ethical behavior and will imply the automatic rejection of the work.

4 b) Heading. The title of the article must be included in Spanish and English. Then indicate author s name and surname (with a maximum of three authors), university and address. c) Summary. Articles shall be accompanied by a summary in English (150 words, each, maximum) that point to the objectives, approach and conclusions of the work. d) Keywords. Authors must include at least, four key words (in Spanish and in English), after the initial summary. e) Article. The essay should not exceed words (title, abstract, citations and bibliography included). Deadline: September 30, 2012 f) Bibliography and citations. Citations in the text should use author last names and the year of the publication. References should appear at the end of the article as shown below: Monographs: LAST NAMES, Name (year of the publication) Title, Title of the monograph Editorial, City. Articles: LAST NAMES, Name (year of the publication) Title, Title of the publication Location: volume, number, pages. Web Pages: LAST NAMES, Name (year of the publication) Title of the text or web page, available at URL, date. Citations in the text should be made by numbers in parentheses. Cited references must be always included to the completion of the work, numbered consecutively. g) Tables, figures and photographs. They will be numbered consecutively as they appear in the text; each figure will have his explanatory foot. The approximate location of each figure will be indicated. Tables, figures and pictures should be sent in separated files. See point i.4. h) Translation. Once the article has been definitively accepted for publication, the author will have a period of two weeks to send the translation of it into English. The full text, titles, citations, bibliography and captions must be translated. The journal will proceed to the revision of the texts in English and will reject those who do not reach the level required for publication. i) Submission. Files must be in Word Doc (.doc or.docx) or Rich Text (.rtf), (including the images in the corresponding position in the text). 2. Authors must include a.pdf file of the article. 3. Authors must include a.pdf file of the article removing the name of the author, university and address, for sending to the reviewers. 4. Images will be sent both embedded in the text in its position and size and in separate files, numbered in order of appearance in the text. Files must be.jpg,.tiff,.pdf, or. eps. The minimum resolution is 300 dpi. for images in grayscale, 600 dpi. for images in black and white 800 dpi. for drawings.
