Methodology Gather agency e-mail addresses through the IATA/IATAN Global Source Put travel intermediary contacts from all CPTM offices, from recent events, etc. into a uniform electronic database format. This information was in a wide variety of formats, electronic and nonelectronic, not easily accessible or transferable. Now will be available to central staff. Send invitations to the agencies collected in above 2 steps to review/ complete their agency information and partake in the survey. The surveys and data were in 5 languages.

Methodology Incentives of Apple ipods and free accommodations at pre-selected Mexican resorts were used to encourage participation. Respondents answering the e-mail invitation were redirected to a webpage hosted by Consumerscan. Each respondent could review his agency data, and take the survey. Up to six waves of invitations were sent out in each region. Consumerscan collected data received from the respondents and tabulated this report for CPTM

Agent Survey Results USA Regional Offices Responses are from agencies with offices located in the United States. Responses are segmented into the CPTM regional offices: Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Miami. 6 waves of e-mail invitations were sent to 13,000 valid e-mail addresses. Approximately 3,440 agencies participated 26%.
