Actividades Eco-Sociales / Green & Social Activities greenfact Ethos, nuestra granja en la selva, produce flores, frutas y verduras orgánicas para consumo en nuestros hoteles. El sistema de aire acondicionado ahorra un 40% de la energía necesaria para enfriar el hotel y el calor generado se utiliza para calentar agua. Hemos reforestado más de 90,000 plantas desde la construcción del hotel. Un sistema de flujo continuo de agua caliente permite que el agua de regaderas y grifos se caliente en tres segundos y se desperdicie menos. Una planta desalinizadora convierte el agua salada en agua dulce de la mayor calidad para uso del hotel. Lo Nuevo / What s New greenfact Ethos, our farm in the jungle, produces flowers, organic fruit and vegetables for consumption at our hotels. Our air conditioning system saves 40% of the energy needed to cool the hotel, and the heat generated is used to heat the water used in our facilities. We have replanted over 90,000 plants since the hotel was constructed. The continuous hot water flow system in the bathrooms enables hot water to reach faucets within three seconds, so less water is wasted. A desalination plant converts salt water into fresh water of the highest quality for hotel consumption. SEGWAY PT UN NUEVO VEHÍCULO El complejo eco turístico Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort, Spa & Nature Park adquirió transportadores personales eléctricos Segway PT. Esta nueva actividad incluye una visita guiada al parque y al hotel con un recorrido de 5 Km. y una duración de una hora. Los paseantes transitan por senderos, visitan el vivero, los cenotes, los jardines y hacen una pequeña ruta por la playa. Así, conocen el concepto ecológico del parque y del hotel, construido tomando como prioridad la preservación del medio ambiente. El tour es dirigido por dos guías debidamente capacitados para instruir a los huéspedes sobre el manejo y las medidas de seguridad del Segway PT, un transporte con una velocidad de hasta 20 km/h. El Segway PT es primero en su tipo: silencioso, seguro, ecológico y cuenta con un sistema de autobalance. SEGWAY PT A NEW VEHICLE The Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort, Spa & Nature Park ecological complex recently acquired personal electric transporters, the Segway PTs. This new activity includes a guided tour of 3.11 miles (approximately one hour) through the Park and Hotel areas. On these Segways you can ride across pathways, visit the nursery, the cenotes, the beautiful gardens and also stroll along the beach shore. This gives you a first hand opportunity to understand the ecological concept of the Park and the Hotel, both created with the constant priority of preserving the environment. The tour is guided by two trained members of our staff; they instruct our guests, inform them about security precautions and the correct use of the Segway PT, a transportation device with a 12.4 mph maximum speed. The Segway PT is the first of its type: quiet, safe, ecological, and it also has an auto-balance system.

(Hacienda Tres Rios) The resort is extremely clean, the employees are always working whether it be cleaning the rooms or the grounds but they always have a friendly smile and a hello for you when you pass them in the corridor. The variety of food is good and so is the quality. The service in the restaurants is exceptional as well as the service you get on the beach if you re laying in one of the many beach beds. There are so many more wonderful things that I could say about Tres Ríos, but I think this gives an idea of what kind of resort it is.
