EDP UNUVERSITY OF PUERTO RICO ASISTENCIA ECONOMICA INSTITUCIONAL Procedimiento para la solicitud del Programa de Préstamo Directo El estudiante que interese participar en el Programa de Préstamo tiene que cumplir con lo siguiente: 1. Completar la solicitud de FAFSA y Firmar electrónicamente con su PIN number. 2. Completar la solicitud institucional del programa, debe incluir copia de seguro social, licencia o identificación con foto, cuatro referencias personales y dirección de correo electrónico. 3. El estudiante completa su entrevista de entrada a través de la pagina de Préstamo Directo. 4. El estudiante debe completar, firmar electrónicamente e imprimir el MPN (Master Promissory Note) por medio del web en la página de Préstamo Directo. Una copia del MPN deberá ser entregada para su expediente de asistencia económica. 5. El oficial de préstamo evalúa la solicitud, valida que el estudiante cumpla con los requisitos del programa, determina le necesidad económica del estudiante, y verifica en NSLDS el historial de préstamos, el cual será adjuntado a su evaluación. 6. Una vez evaluada la solicitud, si cumple con los requisitos del programa, y si el estudiante ha completado todos los requisitos; el oficial autorizado procede a pedir el dinero mediante el batch. 7. El oficial le envía la carta de otorgación al estudiante. 8. Todo estudiante tiene que completar su entrevista de salida, una vez complete su grado, solicite graduación, se transfiera y/o procese baja total. El oficial de préstamos hará las gestiones necesarias para el cumplimiento de este requisito.

I authorize my schools, ED, and their agents to release information about my loan to each other. H. I authorize my schools, ED, and their respective agents and contractors to contact me regarding my loan request or my loan, including repayment of my loan, at the current or any future number that I provide for my cellular telephone or other wireless device using automated dialing equipment or artificial or prerecorded voice or text messages. 14. I will be given the opportunity to pay the interest that accrues during grace, in-school, deferment, forbearance, and other periods as provided under the Act, including during in-school deferment periods.
