This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, 14 June, The PPMU of Hospital Waste Management Support Project financed by the World Bank for Dong Thap province has received a loan from the World Bank for Equipment supply of Solid waste treatment system toward the cost of Hospital Waste Management Support Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for ICB No: 13 Equipment Supply Of Solid Waste Treatment System (Contract No: ÐT/C2B/G/4). 3. The PPMU of Hospital Waste Management Support Project financed by the World Bank for Dong Thap province now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this bid package. Line Item N

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004, revised October 2006 and May 20, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines. 5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from The PPMU of Hospital Waste Management Support Project financed by the World Bank for Dong Thap province; and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below Address: No 5, Vo Truong Toan Street, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap province, Vietnam (Tel: , Fax: ) from 8:00AM to 04:30PM. 6. Qualifications requirements include: The minimum average annual turnover for the past three (3) years of bidder must be greater than 30,000,000,000 VND. The amount in terms of cash flow or liquid assets or credit line, net advanced payments and other commitments for other ongoing contracts that bidders have must be at least the minimum rate of 10,000,000,000 VND. In case of a Joint-Venture, the lead partner representing the Joint-Venture shall meet at least 50% of the requirements for Financial Capability. The bidder shall have successfully completed within the past three (3) years at least two (2) contracts with the minimum required value for each contract of 6,000,000,000 VND (or at least three (3) contracts with the minimum required value for each contract of 4,000,000,000 VND) for supplying goods (health care the solid or solid waste disposal is pestilent); In case of a Joint-Venture, the lead partner representing the Joint-Venture shall have been the main Supplier for one contract and participated in another contract. A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents. 7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below Address: No 5, Vo Truong Toan Street, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap province, Vietnam and upon payment of a non refundable fee is 1,000,000 VND.
