3 Dear Parishioners, As you know, next weekend will be our Spring into Fun Festival. A time to come together and celebrate our wonderful parish family. As you can imagine, many hands have been busy for months and months in the planning and coordinating this great event and many hands are still needed to help out, so I hope you will consider volunteering for the festival. Other than being a great time to celebrate community, it is also a very important fundraiser for our parish. A big heartfelt thank you to all those who are making this festival possible! When you ve finished shopping at the festival and eating the fine foods that will be offered, please stop by our Ministry Table and sign up for the various ministries that we offer at this parish. As St. Paul says, all of us make up the body of Christ. We have many gifts but the same spirit, and we can only be as strong as a community if we pool our gifts together. Our parish, in particular, is very blessed with many talented and gifted people. Would you consider sharing these gifts with the community? For example we are in great need of Altar Servers. In years past, we had so many that we only needed to call on a particular altar server one time a month. Now we are calling on the same ones to serve week after week. Dear young men and women, your friends need your help, please consider serving God s altar during the Mass! And unfortunately, many of our other ministries share the same story. We need more Ministers to the Sick, more Lectors, more Sacristans, and more Eucharistic Ministers. Martha and her team need more helpers to help with environment. We need more catechists and in particular Aina needs help in planning and coordinating Vacation Bible School this summer. As our Lord said, The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few. So please stop by the Ministry table next weekend, and see where you can lend your talents and gifts to building up the City of God. Thanks, Fr. Tom! Queridos feligreses, Como ustedes saben, el próximo fin de semana será el Festival "Primavera en la diversión". Un tiempo para reunirse y celebrar nuestra maravillosa familia parroquial. Como se puede imaginar, muchas manos se han ocupado durante meses y meses en la planificación y coordinación de este gran evento y todavía se necesitan muchas manos para ayudar, así que espero que usted considere ser voluntario para el festival. Ahora hacemos un llamado a los mismos para servir semana tras semana. Queridos jóvenes, sus amigos necesitan su ayuda, por favor, considere servir el altar de Dios durante la Misa! Y, por desgracia, muchos de nuestros otros ministerios comparten la misma historia. Necesitamos más Ministros de los Enfermos, más Lectores, más sacristanes, y los ministros más eucarísticas. Martha y su equipo necesitan más ayuda para que ayuden con el medio ambiente. Please stay after mass today and help move all the donations from the bin and garage over to the parish hall. If you have time this week, drop in and help sort and organize the items. We will have a baking day on Friday the 3 rd so bring your favorite cookie recipe or drop off any baked items you made at home. We still need high end items and gift certificates for the Silent Auction. Buy a raffle ticket and win the $5000 Grand Prize. A $100 Early Bird drawing will be held this Sunday.
