1 Frederick News May 25 th, 2018 Yearbooks If your child purchased a yearbook, they will be distributed on Tuesday, May 29 th. Extra yearbooks will then be sold in the office for $20 starting 5/30 while supplies last. PTO We are looking for parents to help out with our Frederick PTO for next year. If you are willing to help out, please answer the survey below and we will be in contact. Summer Academy and Camp Invention If you are looking for some options for your child over the summer, check out these programs. More information is available online. Thank You A huge thank you to Foundation46 for approving two grants submitted by Frederick staff members. Both of these grants will help to bring materials into all of our classrooms which will help to engage students and enhance their learning. Thank you to Mrs. Jacobs and Mrs. Golden for submitting these proposals and also helping to monitor their effectiveness and the anticipated positive outcomes. Correll Superintendent Dear Parents and Guardians of incoming 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students, The District is considering the possibility of providing an activity bus to transport students home from after school activities. This service would only be available to those students who are currently eligible for bussing. After conferring with the building principals, the pick-up times would be as follows: Frederick Park 4:30 p.m. 5:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. There would be a cost to the District and before making a final decision, the Board will need to consider parent response as well as cost.
