3 Core 40 Diploma English 8 credits 2 credits during Freshmen year English 9 Full Year ( 2cr over 3 trimesters) Honors English 9 ( 2cr over 2 trimesters) Teachers will recommend students for an English class.

5 Core 40 Diploma Science 6 credits 2 credits Freshmen year Integrated Chemistry and Physics A & B Honors Biology (2 nd and 3 rd Trimester) Students who are finished with Algebra I by the start of freshman year will be placed in ICP Trimester 1. At the end of that Trimester, science teachers and administration will determine which students will be placed in Honors Biology for the remainder of the year or which will continue for a second trimester of ICP.

23 English Department Theatre Arts Students enrolled in Theatre Arts learn and apply basic concepts related to the theatre, read and analyze scripts, create theatre pieces, and develop acting skills. Technical Theatre Students enrolled in Technical Theatre actively engage in the processes of designing, building, managing, and implementing the technical aspects of a production. The focus of this class during the first trimester is the fall play, while the focus during the third trimester is the spring musical. Speech Speech involves the study and application of the basic principles and techniques of effective communication, which are often lost arts in today's technology-centered society. Students enrolled in speech class learn to become more proficient communicators in all four facets of language arts - reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
