2 Description Descripción This workshop is designed to promote teachers and parents to take an active role in children s education. Parents, the primary teachers in a child s life, prepare their children during the first five years. The first day of school opens a new door! These monthly workshops bridge home and school. El taller es designado a promoveer maestros y padres a tomor un rol activo en la educación de los niños. Los padres, los maestros primarios, preparan a sus hijos durante los primeros cinco años. El primer día escolar abre una puerta nueva. Estos talleres mensuales construyen puente entre el hogar y la escuela.

Posner model to teachers & parents strategies and skills that will improve and enhance learning at school & at home; inspire the shared vision that their children can achieve lifelong goals of college, career, and citizenship; enable the teachers & parents to practice these learned strategies as well as look for individualized and innovative ways of learning at school & home; encourage their hearts that they have done well thus far and by their attendance, they are setting an example of learning for their children; and challenge the process, ask questions, do not settle for the status quo, expect excellence.
