5 CATHEDRAL OF THE HOLY CROSS What is Eucharistic Adoration? Catholics believe that the Eucharist is the real presence of Jesus Christ. Eucharistic Adoration is the worship, praise, and adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist is displayed in a special holder called a monstrance, and people come to pray and worship. Christ loves us without limit, and offers Himself to us in the Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist. Eucharist adoration is a way for us to give Jesus love and worship in return. In its fullest essence Eucharistic Adoration is God and man reaching out for each other at the same time! The Mass Card is a remembrance by which we offer an announced Mass for the repose of the soul of the deceased person or for the intentions of the living. The Spiritual Bouquet is an enrollments in which we remember the person enrolled at Mass offered every week for both living and deceased.
