Holly Avenue, Baldwin Park, CA Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of conducting business in accordance with the attached Agenda. Review of Provisional Appointment Process B. Presentations by and Interviews of Board Member Applicants for Provisional Appointment to the Board of Education A total of seven (7) community members submitted applications for the vacancy on the Board of Education created by the resignation of Blanca Estela Rubio. The Board Subcommittee met on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 and conducted the paper screening process. The following Candidates were selected to continue on to the interview process: 1. Edwin Borques 2. Diana E. Dzib 3. Roman G. Rodriguez Each candidate will have up to two minutes to make a presentation as to why they should be appointed to the Board of Education, followed by a series of interview questions. At the conclusion of the interview process, the Board will hold deliberations and make their final selection to fill the vacancy. ACTION CALENDAR A. Presentaciones y entrevistas de los solicitantes para el nombramiento provisional para el puesto vacante de la Junta Educativa Siete (7) miembros de la comunidad presentaron solicitudes para la posición vacante de la Junta Educativa, creada por la resignación de Blanca Estela Rubio. El subcomité de la Junta Educativa se reunió el martes, 17 de enero de 2017 y completo el proceso de selección de las aplicaciones. Los siguientes candidatos fueron seleccionados para seguir al proceso de entrevista: 1. Edwin Borques 2. Diana E. Dzib 3. Roman G. Rodriguez Cada candidato tendrá hasta dos minutos para hacer una presentación sobre por qué deben ser nombrados a la Junta de Educativa, seguido por una serie de preguntas de entrevista. A la conclusión de las entrevistas, la Junta Educativa tendrá deliberaciones y hará su última selección para nombrar a un candidato para la posición vacante. Acción del calendario A. La próxima reunión regular se llevará a cabo el martes, 14 de febrero de 2017, a las 6:00 p.m. en el salón de reuniones del centro administrativo del distrito escolar el cual está ubicado en el 3699 N. Holly Avenue, Baldwin Park, California. Avisos: A. De acuerdo con el acta de americanos con incapacidades, si un miembro de la comunidad requiere asistencia especial para poder participar en esta reunión, puede llamar al (626) , extensión Si usted notifica 48 horas antes de la reunión, el distrito escolar hará los arreglos necesarios para garantizar el acceso a esta reunión.
