2 Installation Steps Step 1. Shut off water supply. Disconnect and remove old faucet. Remove your Peerless faucet from package. Place gasket on bottom of faucet. NOTE: If you are installing a faucet without spray attachment, MOVE ON TO STEP 4. Pasos Para la Instalación Paso 1. Cierre el suministro de agua. Desconecte y saque la llave vieja. FOR MODELS WITH SPRAY. Attach spray head to hose assembly. Mount spray support in far right hole in sink. Attach hose tightly to bottom of faucet outlet using a wrench. Use Teflon tape to seal threads. Paso 3. If sink is uneven or gasket does not properly seal, use of silicone sealant in place of gasket may be required. Screw locknuts onto threaded shanks and hand tighten. No wrench is required. Paso 4. Use 1/2" IPS faucet connections (A) or use the supplied coupling nuts (1) with 3/8" O.D. ball-nose risers (B). Paso 5. Haga las conexiones a la líneas de agua. 3 Step 6. FLUSH YOUR FAUCET FOR MODELS WITHOUT SPRAY: After installation is complete, remove aerator, turn handles to full on position. Turn on water supplies, check for leaks and let lines flush for one minute without moving faucet handles. This will remove debris from lines which can damage internal parts of faucet and create leaks. After flushing shut off water at faucet and replace aerator. Paso 6. This will remove debris from lines which can damage internal parts of faucet and create leaks. After flushing shut off water at faucet and replace diverter and aerator. Remoción de Manija IF FAUCET LEAKS FROM SPOUT-Replace seats and springs, Repair Kit RP SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES. Remove handle. Refer to Illustration A, B, C or D above. 2. Unscrew and remove bonnet nut. 3. Pull stem unit straight out.* 4. Remove seat and spring and replace with a new seat and spring. Note: Refer to insert for proper seat and spring installation. Reassemble faucet in reverse order. IF LEAK PERSISTS Replace stem unit assembly Repair Kit RP2083.* *Refer to page 4 for proper stem unit installation. 4 IF SPRAY ATTACHMENT DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY Remove and clean diverter unit. 1. Unscrew and remove spout nut. 2. Using a coin, unscrew and remove diverter assembly. Wash diverter thoroughly and reinstall. Reassemble faucet in reverse order. If diverter appears damaged, replace using RP5266. SI EL CONJUNTO DEL ROCIADOR NO FUNCIONA BIEN Quite y limpie el conjunto del desviador. 1. Desenrosque y quite la tuerca de la salida. 2. Si el desviador aparece estar dañado, reemplacelo usando RP5266. IF FAUCET LEAKS FROM TOP OR BOTTOM OF SPOUT BODY Replace o-rings, RP Remove spout nut. Gently rotate spout and lift off. Cut and remove old o-rings. Stretch new o-rings and snap into grooves on body. Reassemble faucet in reverse order. CAUTION: Be careful when putting spout back on to gently rotate until it rests on escutcheon. Remove seat and spring and any debris trapped in spring. IMPORTANT: USE EXTREME CAUTION. Flush lines by opening water supplies SLIGHTLY! We recommend placing a bucket over the valve opening to prevent water spray. Repeat procedure on other valve. Shut off water supplies and reassemble faucet in reverse order SI PERSISTE LA REDUCCION EN EL FLUJO Limpie los resortes de desechos y deje correr el agua para limpiar el sistema. 1. Care should be given to the cleaning of this product. Although its finish is extremely durable, it can be damaged by harsh abrasives or polish. To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. WARNING! WARNING: SCRUBBING BUBBLES BATHROOM CLEANER and LYSOL BASIN TUB AND TILE CLEANER must not be used on the clear knob handles and levers. Use of these cleaners can result in cracked or severely damaged handles. If overspray gets onto the handles, immediately wipe them dry with a soft cotton cloth.
