1 RULES CURTÀSTIK 2017 (6th INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF FANTASY AND HORROR SHORTFILMS) * 6th Curtàstik (Competition Short Fantasy and Horror, Festival Fantastik Granollers) is a competition that is part of the Festival * Fantastik Granollers as one of the main activities. Fantastik is an international festival, so the competition is open to films of any nationality. During the selection period, the works can be presented in their original language. If not Spanish or Catalan must be subtitled in Catalan or Spanish. If a film is selected as a finalist, must be mandatorily subtitled in Catalan or Spanish for display at the festival unless the language is Catalan or Spanish. 3. 4 BASES CURTÀSTIK 2017 (6º CONCURSO INTERNACIONAL DE CORTOS DE GÉNERO FANTÁSTICO Y DE TERROR) El 6º * Curtàstik (Concurso de Cortos Fantásticos y de Terror, del Festival Fantastik Granollers) es un concurso que forma parte del Festival * Fantastik Granollers como una de las actividades principales. Este también cuenta con proyecciones de películas no competición, y actividades relacionadas con la temática fantástica y / o de terror. 1. Las obras deberán ser enviadas al festival a través de las plataformas de distribución que colaboran con la organización: * Movibeta, * ClickforFestivals, Festhome. Sólo pueden participar obras enviadas en formato digital. 2. El * Fantastik Granollers un festival internacional, por lo tanto, la convocatoria está abierta a películas de cualquier nacionalidad. Durante el periodo de selección, las obras pueden ser presentadas en su lengua de origen. Si no es catalán o español deberán ser subtituladas en catalán o español. En caso de que un film sig ui seleccionado como finalista, deberá estar obligatoriamente subtitulado en catalán o español para su exhibición en el festival a menos que el idioma sea el catalán o el español. 3. Un equipo especializado formado por miembros de la organización y profesionales del mundo cinematográfico externos a esta serán los encargados de seleccionar las obras finalistas que optarán a los premios, y un Jurado Internacional (que descubriremos más adelante) será el responsable de otorgar los diferentes premios. 4. El Premio del Público del otorgarán los asistentes presentes en las sesiones mediante un sistema de votación. Durante el Festival se proyectarán los cortos finalistas, y cada asistente tendrá una única boleto en el que votará los 3 cortos que más le hayan gustado. Las urnas para introducir los boletos se situarán en el * Hall de la Sala. El que obtenga más votos será el ganador. 5. El plazo para el envío de obras en las secciones de cortos comienza el 7 de abril y terminará el 7 de septiembre. La organización se reserva la posibilidad de ampliar el plazo si lo cree necesario. 6. Las obras seleccionadas a competición serán proyectadas durante las diferentes sesiones del Festival, en la Sala de Cine del Centro Cultural de Granollers.

5 BASES: Podrá participar en este concurso cualquier producción realizada a partir del año 2016 y que tengan menos de 20 minutos de duración. 1.Fantàstik Granollers es un festival y su temática es el cine fantástico, ciencia ficción y de terror, por lo tanto, todas las obras que no se adhieran a cualquiera de estos géneros, serán descartadas inmediatamente por la organización. 2. El festival consta de las siguientes categorías competitivas: -mejor DIRECCIÓN -mejor GUIÓN -mejor FOTO -mejor PRODUCCIÓN -mejor FX -mejor ACRTIZ -mejor ACTOR -GRAN PREMIO DEL PÚBLICO MEJOR CORTO -GRAN PREMIO DEL JURADO MEJOR CORTO -GRAN PREMIO DEL JURADO AL MEJOR CORTO ANIMADO 3. Podrán participar en estas categorías todas las obras que por su contenido o temática puedan considerarse de los géneros fantástico, terror o ciencia ficció.els ganadores a Mejor Corto, Mejores Corto Animado y Premio del público ganado una del Espacio Oscuro, el estatuilla del Festival. Los otros premiados se llevarán una litografía limitada original diseñada exclusivamente para el Festival. La decisión del jurado será inapelable y, además, se reserva la posibilidad de conceder una mención especial a una obra de cada categoría si lo cree conveniente (sin retribución económica). 4. Los responsables de las obras seleccionadas deberán facilitar a la organización del festival material publicitario en formato digital: fotos, posters, dossier de prensa, * tráiler, etc., que puedan promocionar las obras de cara a prensa y medios. 5. En caso de que una obra sea seleccionada como finalista, la organización se pondrá en contacto con la distribuidora o prod uctora del film para proceder al envío de la copia que se proyectará durante el festival. Las copias deberán ser en formatos digitales en HD, * Bluray, * DCP o un * MP4 en formato H264 (1920x1080). El festival no aceptará copias que no tengan las condiciones mínimas para su exhibición. 6. En caso de que el envío de la copia para reproducir sea físico, los gastos de transporte originados por el envío de las copias van a cargo de la productora, distribuidora del corto. 7. La organización decidirá los días y las horas de proyección de los cortos.

El autor o propietario mantendrá su derecho intelectual y será de su competencia tanto que las obras presentadas no estén sometidas a ninguna responsabilidad legal como que no existan derechos a terceros. 9. Las obras seleccionadas deberán estar en poder de la organización 30 días antes del inicio del festival. 10. La inscripción supone la aceptación del reglamento, cualquier cuestión no prevista en este será resuelta por la organización del festival. 11. La organización se reserva el derecho de modificar las bases si lo cree necesario.
