1 TRANSFER FROM ALICANTE AIRPORT (EL ALTET) TO HOTEL CAP NEGRET IN ALTEA. (updated September 16, 2013) 1) BY DIRECT BUS T0 BENIDORM Take direct bus to Benidorm Bus Estation from the airport. About 9.45 Euros (17.45 return), 45 minutes. Timetable: At X:00, from 8:00 to 23:00 except 18:00, 20:00 and 22:00. Booking in: (Alicante airport to Benidorm (no street, meaning station). 1A) Take a Taxi to Hotel Cap Negret in Altea (about 20 Euros and 15 minutes). 1B) Walk to Tram Station in Benidorm: see map below. About 15 minutes walking, this is the beginning of Tram line L9 toward Denia, take it until Cap Negret stop, 50 meters from the Hotel. 1C) Take a Taxi to Tram Station (about 7 Euros) and take Tram line L9 to Cap Negret Tram Station. Tram L9: from Benidorm Tram Station to Cap Negret Station (20 minutes) Timetable: 5:59; Every hour from 06:36 to 18:36 and also 19:59; 20:59; and 21:59 (this very last one goes only to stop Garganes 1km far from Cap Negret on foot). Price 1.5 euros. Note: for many schedules you have about 50 time between the bus arrival to Benidorm by bus and the next tram to Cap Negret, more than enough to walk, orientation and ticketing. 1D) Take a bus to Altea in the same bus station, then you ll need to take a taxi to Cap Negret (maybe 7 Euros) or walk 2km. Bus Benidorm-Altea, 20 minutes, 1.5 Euros, timetable: 08:15; 11:00; 12:00; 13:15; 16:30; 18:00; 20:00.

2 2) BY DIRECT BUS FROM THE AIRPORT T0 ALICANTE (OR TRAIN TO ALICANTE) Airport to Alicante: Take line C6 to Alicante, it s 30 minutes, and there is a bus every 20 minutes. (2.75 Euros) at X:00; X:20 and X:40 from 6:00 to 22:20. Stop at Plaza de Luceros: If you to come by train walk 300 meters from the Train Station to the Tram Station Plaza de Luceros. Take the Tram from the Station at Luceros to Cap Negret, line L1, but you have to change to L9 in Benidorm (same station, end of L1, beginning of L9, the only two lines, no mistake possible). Timetables: Luceros-Benidorm: 74 minutes at: 05:41, X:11 until 22:11 combining with L9 with 15 minutes transfer time. Benidorm-Cap Negret (20 minutes) from X:36 from 06:36 until 18:36 plus 19:59 and 20:59 Buy ticket ABCD. So the total travel time from Alicante about 1h 40 minutes and 4.85 Euros. Note: the route is very scenic as the tram goes through villages, mountains and the seaside. 3) PRIVATE SHARED TRANSFER FROM AIRPORT Some private companies offer transfer at 15 Euros directly from the airport to the hotel Cap Negret in Altea. The hotel recommends this: Altea travel alteatravel@infonegocio.com, cost 25 euros. This means you might need to wait from 0 to an hour an hour while other passengers are collected at the airport, and they will be delivered some way in the route, so the traject can be fro 1 to 1:40 hours. 4) TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT: Pre booked taxi costs 68 Euros, it is quite convenient if you re at least two passengers.
