2 FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT 2 N OVEMBER 29, 2015 As we continue to pray for the people in Paris, many times we can be drawn into a place of sadness, despair and sometimes hopelessness. But the message of Advent is that Christ has come into the world in the midst of a time when His own people suffered under an oppressive regime of the Roman Empire, but Christ remains with us now. Especially with those who are suffering. For this reason, we can give thanks that our Lord is with us. But even more, we look to the future, when Christ will come again as we here proclaimed today. So let us continue to pray with our hearts, not weighed down by despair, but lifted up with hope. And while we re at it, let s allow this hope to be expressed through a Holy Advent. Not filled with consumerism, but with works of charity and let us say continuously from our hearts, O Come, O Come Emmanuel! A medida que continuamos a orar por las personas en París, muchas veces podemos ser conducidos a un lugar de tristeza, desesperación y a veces desesperanza. Pero el mensaje de Adviento es que Cristo ha venido al mundo en medio de una época donde Su propio pueblo sufrieron bajo un régimen opresivo del Imperio Romano, pero Cristo permanece con nosotros ahora. Especialmente con los que sufren. Por esta razón, podemos dar gracias de que el Señor está con nosotros. Y ya que estamos en ello, permitamos que esta esperanza se exprese a través de un Adviento Santo. No rellenado con el consumismo, pero con obras de caridad y digamos continuamente de nuestros corazones, O Ven, O Ven Emmanuel

By uniting everyone s gifts, we achieve abundance in a way we could not alone. Please receive our deepest thanks. As we prepare a space in our church to receive Christ anew, we also prepare a beautiful place in our hearts and souls. To help with this we will have an ADVENT RECONCILIATION SERVICE December 1, 6PM Five priests will be available until all people are heard. Healing Mass December 9 at 6:30pm I will bless the Lord at all times O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together! I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Look to Him and be radiant; so your faces shall never be ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34: 1, 3-5, 18. Let s join together in prayer to ask Christ s healing for each other, our parish, and our world. We especially need Him to be reborn into all of our hearts at this time of year. He is our Prince of Peace and Hope no what is going on around us. The Eucharist is our primary source of healing and strength. Anointing of the Sick will be done during the Mass. Father will pray over individuals after Mass. Tendremos un espacio glorioso para recibir al Niño Jesús en esta Navidad, debido a su gran generosidad! Al unir los dones de todos, logramos la abundancia de una manera que no podía por sí solo. Reciba nuestro más profundo agradecimiento. Busqué al Señor, y El me respondió, y me libró de todos mis temores. Los que a El miraron, fueron iluminados; sus rostros jamás serán avergonzados. Este pobre clamó, y el Señor le oyó Cercano está el Señor a los quebrantados de corazón, y salva a los abatidos de espíritu. Salmo 34: 1, 3-5, 18 Vamos a unirnos en oración para pedir sanación de Cristo para, nuestra parroquia y nuestro mundo. Especialmente, tenemos que renacer en todos nuestros corazones en esta época del ano. El es nuestro Príncipe de paz y esperanza, no importa lo que esta sucediendo a nuestro alrededor. 7 PRIMER DOMINGO DE ADVIENTO 7 29 DE NOVIEMBRE DEL 2015 Season of Anticipation, Preparation, and Hope It s so easy to enter into celebrating Christmas immediately after Thanksgiving. We all desire the infusion of happiness and the opportunity to experience childlike joy that Christmas promises. But Christmas will be all the more fulfilling if we take the time to prepare for it during the Advent season. It is a great grace to slow down and reflect on the deep meaning of God becoming man. God sacrificed His beloved Son so that we could return to the life of friendship with Him that was lost in the Garden of Eden. Now we have seen God face to face and can walk with Him more closely. Ideas for Advent: Have an Advent wreath in your home and light it every night after dinner and pray together. Ask Jesus what He would like as a gift from you. Bring the light of Bethlehem into our world by looking for little ways to brighten someone s day every day. Consider how simply and humbly Christ lived and think of ways to simplify your life. Watch for God s presence in the ordinary things. Take time to simply relax with loved ones. We are all too busy and will regret not taking the time when it is too late. Read something from the daily Scripture readings. They are specifically chosen for this season. Receive the love God is offering especially for you as His unique, irreplaceable child. Temporada de Anticipación, Preparación y Esperanza Es tan fácil entrar en la celebración de la Navidad inmediatamente después de Acción de Gracias. Todos deseamos la infusión de la felicidad y la oportunidad de experimentar alegría infantil que promete Navidad. Pero la Navidad será tanto más satisfactoria si nos tomamos el tiempo para prepararnos por su llegada durante el tiempo de Adviento. Ideas para Adviento: Tener una corona de Adviento en su hogar y encender la cada noche después de la cena y rezar juntos. Preguntarle a Jesús que desea El como un regalo tuyo. Llevar la luz de Belén en nuestro mundo, buscando pequeñas maneras para alumbrarle el día a alguien cada día. Considere la sencillez y humildad en que Cristo vivió y pensar en maneras de simplificar su vida. Esté atento a la presencia de Dios en las cosas ordinarias. Tómese el tiempo para relajarse con sus seres queridos. Estamos demasiados ocupados y nos arrepentiríamos de no haber tomado el tiempo hasta que ya es demasiado tarde. Leer algo de las lecturas bíblicas diarias. Están específicamente elegidas para esta temporada. Recibe el amor que Dios te está ofreciendo especialmente para ti como Su único hijo insustituible. Adviento Semana 1 Al encender la primera vela en la corona de adviento, respire lento y profundo. Recuerde que no importa lograr un día festivo perfectamente orquestado. Lo que importa es ver a Dios en cada situación.
