Pida que tengan sus crayolas rosa y café listas. Pregunte a sus alumnos cuál ropa es nueva y cuál vieja. Primero pida que iluminen la ropa nueva de color rosa. Después pida que iluminen la ropa vieja de color café. Vaya con distintos alumnos a revisar que hayan coloreado los artículos correctamente. Mientras Ud. Revisa, señale los distintos artículos de ropa y pregunte: What is this? Los alumnos deberán responder: A new / An old. Ejercicio 7.1F (pág. 139) Dirija a sus alumnos a la página 139. Empezando por la blusa, señale y pregunte: What is this? Entonces, pida que iluminen la blusa. Puede especificar el color para repasar los colores. Haga que sus alumnos lo unan con su sombra. Mientras unen ambos, pida que repitan: This is a blouse. Continúe con el vestido, el sombrero y finalmente con la falda. Invite a distintas alumnas a pasar al frente a describir lo que traen puesto. Haga que digan: I am wearing a dress. / I am wearing a blouse and a skirt. Puede tambien decir: What color is it? Ejercicio 7.1E (pág. 138) Open your book to page 138. Look! What do we have here? New clothes and old clothes! Have your pink and brown crayons ready. Which of these clothes are new? (Ss: The dress! The hat! The blouse!) Which of these clothes are old? (Ss: The hat! The skirt!) Now color the new clothes pink. Then color the old clothes brown. (Go to individual students and point to any item.) What is this? (S1: A new dress; S2: An old hat.) Ejercicio 7.1F (pág. 139) We are going to match the clothes to their shadows. (Point to the blouse.) What is this? A blouse! Color the blouse yellow (or any color). Now look for its shadow and match them. Repeat: This is a blouse. (Point to the dress.) Next, what is this? A dress! Color the dress pink (or any color). Can you find the shadow of the dress? Match them. Repeat: This is a dress. Now which girl would like to come up and tell us about your clothes? Say: I am wearing. What color is it? / What color is your blouse/skirt? Terrific! Thank you! Pida que repitan: This shirt is small. Diga que el papá de Tony usa una camisa grande mientras que Tony usa una camisa chica. Pida a distintos alumnos que busquen objetos grandes alrededor del salón.
