La Secretaría pone en conocimiento del Comité Ejecutivo que el 16 de enero de 2012 recibió la comunicación DL 1201/074A de 13 del mismo mes del Departamento de Aviación Civil de Aruba (Adjunto 1), mediante la cual solicita: la cancelación de la membresía de Aruba de la CLAC, en consideración de esto, expresan que ya no debería cobrárseles la cuota de contribución para el período En respuesta a la comunicación recibida, la Secretaría envió la carta que se acompaña como Adjunto 2, en la que se explica el procedimiento a seguir en estos casos, es decir, la aplicación del Artículo 24 del Estatuto. 2. Por otro lado, cabe informar que mediante mensaje de 10 de abril de 2012, suscrito por la Srta. Darryllin L. van der Veen, se consultó a esta Secretaría sobre los pasos a seguir para incorporarse a la CLAC. En respuesta, la Secretaría absolvió la consulta detallando los pasos a seguir. Copia del intercambio de mensajes, se acompaña como Adjunto 3. Medidas propuestas al Comité Ejecutivo 3. Se invita al Comité Ejecutivo a tomar conocimiento de la información presentada y adoptar una resolución sobre el pedido de Aruba para desvincularse de la CLAC.

In that sense, this Secretary will be very grateful to you, to state to whom it may concern to proceed with the payment of US$ 3, (Three Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Two 00/100 US Dollars), corresponding to your contribution for this year, Likewise, I would like to remind you that the Resolution A14-11 Apportionment of the direct expenses of LACAC among Member states and Compliance with financial obligations, resolves, among other things: Member States will be urged to cancel pending financial commitments with the Commission and to acknowledge the need to pay their contributions at the beginning of the corresponding year. Likewise, please lend me requested you the cancellation of US$ 3, (Three Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Two 00/100 US Dollars), amount that comprises the contribution of this year, 2011 and US$ 5, (Five Thousand 00/100 US Dollars) that comprises the support fund Unfortunately, we did not receive your payment. For this reason, I will be very grateful to you, to proceed with the payment of that amount, as soon as possible, in consideration that these payments cover the LACAC expenses, avoiding the non liquidity. Finally, the above-mentioned payment should be made in United States Dollars, either by cheque payable to ICAO or by electronic transfer.
