PASADO PERFECTO CONTINUO Afirmativo: Sj + HAD + BEEN + V. en Gerundio I had been studying yesterday / Yo había estado estudiando ayer. Negativo: Sj + HAD + NOT + BEEN + V. en Gerundio I had not been studying yesterday Yo no había estado estudiando ayer. Interrogativo: HAD + Sj + BEEN + V. en Gerundio Had I been studying yesterday? Ejemplos: At last the bus came. I had been waiting for 20 minutes. Ken gave up smoking two years ago. He d been smoking for 30 years USED TO + INFINITIVO Podemos traducir esta forma verbal inglesa por la perífrasis: solía + infinitivo. Ejemplos: We used to live in a small village but now we live in London. There used to be four cinemas in the town. Now there is only one. Manual de Lengua Inglesa PÁG
Manual de Lengua Extranjera. Inglés. Tema 1 EDITORIAL CEP Negativo: sujeto+ didn t+ use+ to+ infinitivo. Se comporta como cualquier pasado simple. Ejemplos: I didn t use to like tea. He didn t use to smoke. Interrogativo: did+ sujeto + use+ to+ infinitivo? Ejemplos: Did you use to eat a lot of sweets when you were a child? Did she use to drink coke? TO BE USED TO + GERUNDIO No confundáis la forma used to+ infinitivo con la forma to be + used+ to+ -ing. Veamos con ejemplos las diferencias: I used to live alone. I am used to living alone. Ejemplos: I m going to Italy tomorrow. I m leaving tomorrow. I ve got my plane tickets. When are they getting married? Next month.
Ejemplos: We go on Monday. My train leaves at 5.46 (según el horario establecido) What time does the film begin? Usamos presente simple y no will después de when, if, while, before... Ejemplos: I hope to see you before I leave tomorrow.(no before I will leave) You must come and see us when you are in England. (no when you will be) If we don t hurry, we ll be late. FUTURO DE INTENCIÓN Afirmativo: Sj + BE en presente + GOING TO + V. en Infinitivo I am going to play footbal tomorrow / Voy a jugar al fútbol mañana. Negativo: Sj + BE en presente + NOT + GOING TO + V. en Infinitivo I am not going to play football tomorrow No voy a jugar al fútbol mañana. Interrogativo: BE en presente + Sj + GOING TO + V. en Infinitivo Am I going to play footbal tomorrow?
Ejemplos: I ve decided not to stay longer. I m going to leave tomorrow. Are you going to watch the film on television tonight? Look at those black clouds. It s going to rain. (las nubes adelantan la situación). FUTURO SIMPLE Afirmativo: Sj + SHALL (I,We) / WILL + V. en Infinitivo It will rain tomorrow / Lloverá mañana. Negativo: Sj + SHALL / WILL + NOT + V. en Infinitivo It will not rain tomorrow / No lloverá mañana. Interrogativo: SHALL / WILL + Sj + V. en Infinitivo Will it rain tomorrow? Ejemplos: I ll leave tomorrow (se decide mientras habla) The bags look heavy. I ll help you with them. I promise I won t tell anybody what happened.
I don t think John is happy in his job. I think he will leave soon. This time next year I will be in Japan. Where will you be? FUTURO PERFECTO Afirmativo: Sj + SHALL / WILL + HAVE + V. en Participio I shall have studied tomorrow / Habré estudiado mañana. Negativo: Sj + SHALL / WILL + NOT + HAVE + V. en Participio I shall not have studied tomorrow / No habré estudiado mañana (*) Téngase en cuenta que la partícula negativa NOT va con las partículas de futuro SHALL / WILL y no con HAVE. Interrogativo: SHALL / WILL + Sj + HAVE + V. en participio Shall I have studied tomorrow? I won t be here this time tomorrow. I ll have already left. At 9.30, the match will have finished.
I ll have finished by ten o clock. By the time you finish your letter, I will have had two cups of tea. FUTURO CONTINUO Afirmativo: Sj + SHALL / WILL + BE + V. en Gerundio I shall be studying tomorrow / Estaré estudiando mañana. Negativo: Sj + SHALL / WILL + NOT + BE + V. en Gerundio I shall not be studying tomorrow / No estaré estudiando mañana. Interrogativo: SHALL / WILL + Sj + BE + V. en Gerundio Shall I be studying tomorrow? This time next week I will be on holiday. I ll be lying on a beach and swimming in the sea. What time will you be leaving tomorrow? Manual de Lengua Inglesa PÁG
FUTURO PERFECTO CONTINUO Afirmativo: Sj + SHALL / WILL + HAVE + BEEN + V. em Gerundio I shall have been studying tomorrow Habré estado estudiando mañana. Negativo: Sj + SHALL / WILL + NOT + HAVE + BEEN + V. en Gerundio I shall not have been studying tomorrow No habré estado estudiando mañana. Interrogativo: SHALL / WILL + Sj + HAVE + BEEN + V. en Gerundio Shall I have been studying tomorrow? We shall have been living in Spain for 6 months by the end of this year CONDICIONAL SIMPLE Afirmativo: Sj + WOULD + V. en Infinitivo It would rain tomorrow / Llovería mañana. Negativo: Sj + WOULD + NOT + V. en Infinitivo It would not rain tomorrow / No llovería mañana. Manual de Lengua Inglesa PÁG
