I played football with my brother yesterday. Jugué al fútbol con mi hermano ayer. I saw Luis in the supermarket. She didn t watch the tennis match in my house. Did you say Marcos to come to dinner tonight? Real Madrid won the League yesterday. El Real Madrid ganó la Liga ayer. Sonia didn t go to school last week.
2 When I was a child I always did my homework. Carlos came to Greece eight years ago. Carlos llegó a Grecia hace 8 años. EL PASADO CONTINUO Formación: El pasado continuo se forma con el pasado simple del verbo to be (WAS/WERE) seguido del verbo principal terminado en ING. She was studying for the exam when you called. Estaba estudiando para el examen cuando llamaste. They weren t working when I arrived. No estaban trabajando cuando yo llegué. Were you sleeping while I was painting? Estabas durmiendo mientras yo estaba pintando? I was playing when Dad arrived. Para ellos vamos a utilizar WHEN y WHILE
Mary was sleeping on the sofa when someone knocked at the door. Henry was preparing dinner while Jill was putting the table. EJERCICIOS 1.
