Things are not good, even given sorne ofthe earlier remediation actions taken, and even those it appears are being carried out haphazardly. The good news, then, is that we have a lot of material and problems to work with from the clinic. 1 think that we can be very useful, initially in drafiing an informe of sorts, but also with a IACtHR case in mind (it looks like, for example, that the provincial government itself carried out early studies in 1985 documenting very clearly the hea1th problems at that point.) The involvement of the BID also adds another element to work with. I've got a meeting in Salta in an hom and need to get on the road.
