4 Cuánto sabes de la vida de los santos? Los Santos son los verdaderos discípulos del Señor. Su vida es el Evangelio puesto en práctica y por esto son modelos para conocer e imitar. Sin embargo, los que hoy llamamos santos eran hombres como nosotros, que tenían problemas y dificultades en sus familias, con sus hijos y sus amigos. También ellos tenían tentaciones, pecados e incluso algunos de ellos fueron grandes pecadores como San Agustín. Cómo siendo pecadores alcanzaron la santidad?, cómo vencieron la ira, la pereza, la envidia, los malos deseos y todas las tentaciones? En una palabra, ya fueran jóvenes o viejos, religiosos o laicos, padres o madres de familia, muchachos o muchachas, qué medios emplearon para protegerse del mal, fortalecerse, santificarse, progresar, vencer y triunfar? Al leer su vida sabremos estas cosas. Mejor aún, la lectura de su vida, nos fortalecerá, iluminará, instruirá y nos ayudará a tener esperanza a pesar de las dificultades de la vida. 5 DID YOU KNOW? Help kids understand boundaries during the holidays Christmas is a time for families, and extended aunts, uncles, and cousins gather to celebrate the season together. Your children should be comfortable around their family members, but they should also know the limits of their comfort zones, and what to do if someone crosses a line too many hugs and kisses, or inappropriate tickling. Your children should be comfortable saying NO whenever things cross their lines, and they should know that you ll back them up.
