Clubs will begin on 5 October Please note the grade levels that are eligible for each club. 2 Entrepreneur/ Thursday Not Open for General Enrollment Pep Squad- Friday Try Outs Required Lion 5 News Not Open for General Enrollment Lego Robotics Club- Teacher Recommendation Only Club Requirements In order to be a member of a club, a student must maintain a passing grade of 73 in all subjects, and may not have any Zavala Zone referrals, office referrals, or Parent Notice of Misbehavior during the semester in which the club meets. Students who have more than one absence from club meetings will not be eligible to participate in any club study trips. Two late pick-ups of 10 minutes or more will result in the student s dismissal from the club for the remainder of the semester. In addition, any disruptive behavior during club meetings can be cause for dismissal from the club. Each child is to pay $20 for club fees (Fall & Spring) at the same time the application form is submitted. De Zavala does not provide bus transportation after clubs. The parent is responsible for making arrangements for the child s transportation for the clubs. NOTE: Students must be picked up on time. Two late pick-ups will result in student suspension from club until SPRING semester. No applications will be accepted after 25 September 2015! Students will be contacted 28 September 2015 in regard to the club in which they will be able to participate. Clubs will begin the following Monday, 5 October Club meetings are held from 3:30-4:30 on Mondays. Dates for club meetings are as follows: Fall Semester (September-December 2015) Spring Semester (January March 2016) October 5 January 4 October 12 January 11 October 19 January 25 October 26 February 1 November 2 February 8 November 9 February 15 November 16 February 22 November 30 February 29 SHOWCASE: December 7 (4p, m- SHOWCASE: March 7 (4pm-5pm) 5pm)

No puede tener referidos a la oficina por asuntos disciplinarios o notificaciones a los padres sobre comportamiento inapropiado durante el semestre de su participación. Los alumnos que tienen más de una ausencia de las reuniones del club no serán elegibles para participar en excursiones de estudio. Si los padres recogen tarde al alumno dos veces (10 minutos o más después de la hora indicada) el alumno no podrá participar en el club por el resto del semestre. Además, comportamiento que interrumpe las actividades del club puede resultar en la suspensión. Cada alumno tiene que pagar una cuota de $20 para los clubs (otoño y primavera); la cuota se entrega junto con la solicitud. De Zavala no provee servicio de autobús después de los clubs. El padre de familia tiene que arreglar los detalles de transporte. FAVOR DE NOTAR: Es necesario recoger a los alumnos a tiempo. Si el alumno se recoge tarde dos veces será suspendido del club hasta el semestre de PRIMAVERA.
