November 11-12, 2014 Sheraton Maria Isabel Mexico D.F.
3 Programme and Event Highlights The Mexican telecommunications market is definitely among the most promising in Latin America. Constitutional Reform of Telecommunications will generate innumerous opportunities for the sector and it was due to this scenario that Informa decided to put together, with the invaluable help of IFT as technical Advisor, the first edition of the Mexican Telco Forum, which took place on November 11-12 at Sheraton Maria Isabel, Mexico D.F. The event was a high-level summit that brought together the main industry players and addressed all the key topics for this booming sector. It was definitely a success, being able to already on its first edition have the presence of high level attendees from ALL MEXICAN OPERATORS. Telcel, Telmex, Telefónica, Iusacell, Nextel, Alestra, Axtel, Cablemás, Maxcom, Marcatel, Televisa, Virgin Mobile were all there, which made the event the perfect meeting place for operators to share experience and discuss the future of the market. IFT, D.F. Government, SCT (Communications and Transport Secretary) were also there and made really interesting presentations about perspectives and plans for the future of the market. The event also attracted 12+ media groups, with topics discussed being largely present on the news. In total, 160+ telecoms executives were able to take advantage of the 2-day event, making this the one Mexican conference that cannot be missed! I look forward to seeing you on the 2015 edition!
