Fundamentación y descripción El objetivo de este curso es familiarizar a los estudiantes con los modelos teóricos y experimentales de la fonología del español. Se cubrirán temas como el inventario fonémico del español (rasgos segmentales y suprasegmentales), procesos fonológicos y cambios fonéticos. Se discutirán tanto aspectos teóricos como metodológicos para ilustrar cómo se recogen y analizan los datos en la disciplina. Se hará hincapié en el uso de técnicas experimentales para la evaluación de propuestas teóricas. 2. Objetivos - Familiarizar a los alumnos con los fenómenos más estudiados en la fonología del español - Discutir los diferentes análisis que estos fenómenos han recibido a la luz de las teorías fonológicas contemporáneas. - Introducir a los estudiantes en las discusiones actuales en el área. - Familiarizar a los estudiantes con los métodos de análisis de la disciplina. - Familiarizar a los estudiantes con las distintas técnicas experimentales utilizadas en la disciplina. - Alentar a los alumnos en la identificación de sus propias áreas de interés y en la aplicación de la metodología estudiada en un proyecto piloto de investigación. 2

Actividades planificadas - Exposiciones del docente - Presentación de al menos un articulo de investigación de parte de los alumnos - Laboratorios - Entrega de un trabajos práctico - Propuesta del trabajo final - Trabajo final 7. Condiciones de regularidad y régimen de promoción y calificación Asistir al 80 % de las clases del seminario. Presentar un trabajo monográfico dentro del año posterior a la finalización del Seminario. Se evaluará la participación con una nota, que será el resultante de la evaluación que el profesor realice sobre las presentaciones de informes parciales, exposiciones orales, individuales o grupales, lecturas, síntesis e informes bibliográficos, etc. Si ésta fuera inferior a 4 (cuatro) puntos, significará un aplazo. Separadamente, se calificará el trabajo monográfico. Si este fuera rechazado, los interesados tendrán opción en este caso y por única vez a presentarlo nuevamente antes de la finalización del plazo fijado.
