1 Dossier del BHI No. S1/0100 CIRCULAR No. 13/ de Febrero del Estimado(a) Director(a), FUNDACION INTERNACIONAL PARA LA LEY DEL MAR (IFLOS) ACADEMIA DE VERANO El BHI se complace en proporcionarle la siguiente información, suministrada por la IFLOS, relativa a su Academia de Verano En los Anexos se proporciona información sobre el lugar y el programa de la Academia. La Fundación Internacional para la Ley del Mar, presidida por el Profesor Doris KÖNIG de la Bucerius Law School, celebrará su quinta Academia de Verano en el Tribunal Internacional de la Ley del Mar, en Hamburgo, del 24 de Julio al 20 de Agosto del La Academia de Verano es un centro de excelencia para estudios de la Ley del Mar y de Derecho Marítimo e incluye temas asociados de economía y ciencias naturales. Constituye una facultad prestigiosa que reúne a jueces del Tribunal, profesores y profesionales del campo marítimo, con un grupo especializado de unos 30 participantes muy motivados procedentes del mundo entero. Para información adicional, le rogamos se refiera al prospecto adjunto y al programa preliminar. De manera general, los candidatos deberán poseer un Máster (LL.M o equivalente). Un número limitado de becas o de viajes estará disponible. En función del número de puestos disponibles, pueden considerarse excepciones para los estudiantes que estén haciendo un Máster o para los profesionales del sector marítimo y, en casos raros, para excelentes estudiantes universitarios que concentren sus estudios en la Ley del Mar o en el Derecho Marítimo. 2 Unique Training Experience Law of the Sea and Maritime Law in Hamburg The International Foundation for the Law of the Sea, chaired by Professor Doris König of Bucerius Law School, will hold its fifth Summer Academy at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea Promoting Ocean Governance and Peaceful Settlement of Disputes in Hamburg from 24 July to 20 August, The Summer Academy is a centre of excellence for studies of both International Law of the Sea and Maritime Law and includes related topics of economic and natural sciences. It brings together a prestigious faculty from among the judges of the Tribunal, professors and professionals from the maritime field with a dedicated group of some 30 highly-motivated participants from around the world. For further information please refer to Summer Academy in a Nutshell at As a rule, applicants should hold a Masters degree (LL.M or equivalent). A limited number of scholarships and travel grants will be available. Subject to availability of places, exceptions may be considered for Master Students or professionals in the maritime field and, in rare cases, for excellent undergraduates focusing on Law of the Sea or Maritime Law.
