Gift Bearers If you and your family would like to bring the gifts up to the altar during Mass, please call Bill or Joan Topp at ADVENT GIVING TREE Advent is upon us, and it is a time of year when the parishioners of Annunciation show an extragenerous spirit. Traditionally, each year during the Christmas season, we help many families. There is an Advent Giving Tree in the church near the statue of St. Joseph. The ornaments on the tree have the age and gender of the recipients who will receive the gifts. We invite you to take an ornament and purchase a gift for that person. Gift cards are a good choice if you are unsure what to give. Please bring the unwrapped item, with the tag attached, to Mass the following Sunday. You will bring it to the altar during the offertory procession. We will distribute the gifts to local families and agencies. Thank you for your generous hearts. May you be abundantly blessed. If you have any questions, contact Yvonne at the Parish House at December 21st is the last Sunday we can accept gifts. Please bring them early. We gather in the school gym at 6:30pm for Las Posadas to reenact Mary and Joseph s quest for shelter in Bethlehem by singing a litany of songs,followed by Mass inside the church.
