3 CARACTERÍSTICAS El medidor de distancias puede utilizarse en construcciones civiles, diseño interior y decoración, etc. incluyendo además las siguientes funciones: Medida de distancias entre objetos. Cálculo de áreas y volúmenes. Función acumuladora para operar con mediciones. INSTRUCCIONES INSTALACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA Abrir la tapa de la batería colocada en la base del medidor. Sacar los cables de conexión, instalar la batería en la posición correcta Introducir la batería en el compartimento y cerrar la tapa. El detector debe encenderse automáticamente cuando la batería esté instalada correctamente, y debe apagarse automáticamente si no se utiliza durante más de un minuto. Para volver a utilizarlo, pulsar el botón (READ) otra vez. Precaución Si no se utiliza el detector durante tres meses, las baterías deberán estar colocadas en un lugar fresco y seco. Si la batería está mojada, limpiar el líquido con una tela y evitar que contacte con la carcasa. Para la protección de contaminación ambiental, depositar las pilas en los contenedores adecuados para su reciclaje. MEDIDA DE DISTANCIAS Cuando se instala la batería o se pulsa el botón (READ), el detector se debe encender, y el número 0.00m deberá visualizarse en pantalla. Colocar la parte frontal del instrumento en posición perpendicular al objeto a medir. Pulsar el botón (READ) unos segundos. Entonces el dato medido deberá visualizarse en pantalla. Dicho dato será la distancia medida desde el frontal del medidor hasta el objeto. CALCULO DE LA ACUMULACIÓN DE SUMA DE DATOS Pulsar (READ) primero. Cuando empiece a medir, y mida el primer dato, pulse el botón (+/=). El símbolo 0 + deberá visualizarse en pantalla en la esquina superior izquierda de la pantalla. Presionar el botón (READ) otra vez, obtendrá el segundo dato medido. Pulse el botón (+/=) otra vez. Entonces aparecerá en pantalla 1 + en la esquina superior izquierda de la pantalla. El dato visualizado en pantalla será la suma de las dos medidas tomadas anteriormente.

4 CALCULO DE LA ACUMULACIÓN DE MULTIPLICACIÓN DE DATOS Pulsar (READ) primero. Entonces medirá el primer dato. Pulse el botón (x/=). El símbolo x deberá visualizarse en pantalla encima del primer número. Presionar el botón (READ) otra vez, para obtener el segundo dato medido. Pulse el botón (x/=) otra vez. Entonces aparecerá en pantalla x encima del número. El dato visualizado en pantalla será el área (m 2 ) entre los dos objetos medidos. Si pulsamos el botón (READ) otra vez, el dato visualizado será el volumen (m 3 ) entre los tres objetos medidos. Notas La parte frontal del detector representa el punto de referencia de medición; éste es el dato obtenido sobre la distancia que existe entre el frontal del detector hasta el objeto. Si se desea saber la distancia desde la parte trasera del detector hasta el objeto, el usuario deberá sumarle al dato obtenido, 0.13m más (distancia del detector, desde su parte trasera hasta su parte frontal) Si desea cambiar de función de acumulación de suma de datos(visualizada en pantalla en la esquina superior izquierda) por acumulación de multiplicación de datos, pulsar el botón (READ) y después el botón (x/=). Entonces aparecerá en pantalla el mensaje Err m. En este momento, el medidor ya está preparado para realizar la función de acumulación de multiplicación de datos. Si desea cambiar la función de acumulación de multiplicación de datos por acumulación de suma de datos, cuando acabe de obtener el volumen, presionar el botón (READ) y el botón (+/=). En ese momento, ya puede empezar a realizar sumas de datos. Precaución Los datos erróneos pueden ser causa de lo siguiente: Si desde la distancia de la que se mide es muy superior o inferior y excede el alcance de medición del medidor. Si existe un ángulo entre el medidor y el objeto a medir. Si existe un obstáculo entre el medidor y el objeto a medir o la superficie de medida es rugosa o accidental, o inferior a 1m 2. Si la fuente de alimentación está agotada. La temperatura ambiental es inferior a 0ºC o superior a 40ºC.

6 CHARACTERISTICS Distance detector can be used in civil construction, housing design and decoration etc., also including the following functions: Distance measurer between objects Square and cubic measurement calculator Calculator function to work with the measurements OPERATING INSTRUCTION BATTERY ASSEMBLY Open the battery-box cover in the back of detector. Push out the connecting-wire, and assemble the battery in correct methods. Put the battery into box and close the cover. This detector will be power on automatically when the battery is assembling correctly, and it will be power off automatically if it is not used for more than one minute. Warning If the detector is not used for long time, please take the battery out and keep them in a cool and dry place. If the battery leaked, please clean the liquid with a soft cloth and avoid contacting with skin. In order to protect polluting the environment please put the waste batteries into recyclebox, forbidding to reject and burn them. DISTANCE MEASURES When the battery is assembled into the detector or press (READ) button, it will be power on, and the number 0.00m will be showed on the screen. Put the front end of the instrument perpendicular to the object which is measured. Press the (READ) button for a while. Then the data measured will be showed on the LCD. This data will be the distance from the front end of the detector to the object. PLUS ACCUMULATING CALCULATION FOR THE NUMERICAL VALUE Press (READ) first, and measure the first data, press (+/=) button. The 0 + sign will be showed at the left corner on the LCD. Press (READ) button again, the second data will be gotten. Press (+/=) button again. Then the symbol 1 + will be showed at the left corner on the LCD. The data showed on the LCD will be the sum of the two measures.

7 MULTIPLY ACCUMULATING CALCULATION FOR THE NUMERICAL VALUE Press (READ) button. Then measure the first data. Press (x/=) button. The symbol x will be showed on the first number on the LCD. Press (READ) button again, the second data will be gotten. Press (x/=) button again. Then the symbol x will be showed on the first number on the LCD. The data showed on the LCD will be the area (m 2 ) between the two objects. Press (READ) button again, the data showed on the LCD will be the volume (m 3 ) between the three objects. Notes The front end of the detector is set up as the reference point of measure; the data that is gotten means the distance from the front end of the instrument to the object. If you need the back end as the reference point of measure, 0.13m should be added (this is the length of the detector, from the front end to the back end) to the data you get. If you want to switch it from the state of sum accumulating calculation to that of multiply accumulating calculation, press (READ) button, and then press (x/=) button. Then the sign of Err m will be showed on the LCD. In this moment, the instrument is switched into the multiplying state. If you want to switch it from the multiplying accumulating calculation state to that of sum accumulating, just finish one cycle of measure for the volume calculation, press (READ) button and the (x/=) button. In this moment, it goes into the state of plus accumulating calculation. Caution Errors can happen for the following reasons, please correct them in time: The measure distance may be too long or too short and exceeding the measure scope. There is an angle between the director and measured object. There is an obstacle between the director and measured object, or the surface of measured object is rough or accidented, or less than 1m 2. The battery power is too low (sign of cell will come out at the right corner on the LCD, which means low battery, you should put new battery in). The ambient temperature is lower than 0 or higher than 40.
