3 V DOMINGO DE CUARESMA 22 DE MARZO DEL 2015 Jesus I trust in You Jesús En Ti confio DIVINE MERCY DEVOTION Jesus appeared to St. Faustina from 1934 to 1938 with His beautiful message of overflowing mercy for each one of us. Sister Faustina grew up in a very poor farming family. She only had 3 years of simple schooling. Because of this she did the simplest jobs in the convent, working in the kitchen and garden. But Jesus chose her to reveal His message that reaches the whole world today. Jesus tells us that He wants to abundantly pour out His mercy and forgiveness, no matter what we have done, as long as we seek Him. No one is too far or too dark to turn back to His mercy. March 25 Feast of the Annunciation Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit at the Annunciation. It s an amazing miracle that God the Son left Heaven and took on human flesh and then grew in His mother s womb just like we did. Imagine what it would be like to leave the perfect joy of Heaven to come to earth when you know you will suffer terribly. Spiritual Adoption In honor of Jesus becoming man, we can spiritually adopt a baby that might be in danger of abortion. You don t have to know the parents personally. You can pray this simple prayer every day for nine months and even name the baby if you like. Prayer is extremely powerful even if we never see the results until Heaven. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion. This will be a very special presentation in the gym! 4 F IFTH SUNDAY OF LENT M ARCH 22, 2015 CHRISM MASS-2015 Chrism Mass Tuesday, March 31, :00 pm Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart 1701 San Jacinto Street, Houston, The Chrism Mass is a yearly liturgy concelebrated by a bishop and the priests of his (arch) diocese, during which the bishop blesses oils for sacramental use throughout the diocese for the coming year. It is during this Mass that the holy oils used in Baptism, Confirmation, the Ordination of priests and bishops and the Anointing of the Sick are blessed. 6 F IFTH SUNDAY OF LENT M ARCH 22, 2015 I like Resurrec on because I can become closer to God at Mass and Religion class. It is also very easy to make wonderful friends. Daniel G. 5 th Grade I like that every teacher helps the students and that my classmates are very nice to each other. Resurrec on is teaching kids to grow in wisdom, age and faith. Anahi R. 6 th Grade I like Resurrec on because the priest talks to us and uses stories to teach us. I learn a lot here, like how to help other people. Jon R. 4 th Grade I like the teachers at Resurrec on. My favorite subject is.. all subjects! There is a lot of educa on. I enjoy going to Mass and being a lector. I love my friends and having good conversa ons with them. Isaiah V. 7 th Grade I like Resurrec on because we get to pray and be happy while doing it. Resurrec on is like my second home. Daniel G. 5to Grado Me gusta que todos los maestros ayudan a los estudiantes y que mis compañeros son muy buenos. Resurrección le enseña a los estudiantes a crecer en conocimiento, edad y fe. Anahi R. 6to Grado Me gusta Resurrección porque el padre nos habla y u liza historias para enseñarnos. Aquí aprendo mucho, como ayudar a otras personas. John R. 4to Grado Me gustan las maestras de Resurrección. Mi clase favorita es son todas!! Hay mucha educación. Me gusta ir a misa y ser lector.
