4 Querida Familia: Comunidad Católica de La Santa Cruz, Albertville, Alabama Porque en estas fiestas navideñas, cuando las calles se llenan de luces, las tiendas de regalos y los niños de ilusiones, los adultos no podemos compartir del todo toda la alegría que desearíamos. Depresión, melancolía, tristeza, ansiedad o simple cansancio hacen su aparición en estas fechas señaladas. Solo la llegada del Salvador del mundo hecho niño en Belén puede cambiar estas y otras realidades; es por eso que solo cuando encontramos al Jesús naciendo y viviendo en torno nuestro es que salimos al encuentro del otro. En La familia que siempre está ahí para apoyarnos, para levantarnos cuando nos caemos, para darnos consejos, para criticarnos si hace falta, pero sobre todo, para evitar que nos sintamos solos. Una palabra de amor a una madre o un padre para agradecerle todo, absolutamente todo, o a una abuela por su generosidad, o a una hermana por su apoyo constante. En los Amigos. Los amigos son tan fundamentales como la familia y, al igual que ocurre con los familiares, damos por supuesto que saben cuánto los queremos, cuánto los apreciamos, cuánto los necesitamos. Estas Navidades podemos hacérselo saber por medio de una palabra o un gesto de amor a la mejor amiga, a un amigo confidente o incluso a ese mejor amigo del que nos estamos enamorando. En el Trabajo. Nuestros compañeros de trabajo también se merecen un reconocimiento en Navidad, sobre todo si nos gusta contagiar espíritu navideño. Compañeros de trabajo, personal que trabaje en el mismo edificio y con los que compartimos café y madrugones o incluso, por qué no, el jefe, pueden ser los destinatarios de nuestros gestos de Navidad, aunque en ocasiones no sintamos tanto amor. Pero los gestos de amor, sean en Navidad o en cualquier época del año, encuentran sus mejores destinatarios en los demás. Nuestra pareja necesita leer un "te quiero" tanto como escucharlo. Y estas Navidades son perfectas para decirlo, lo importante es que no dejes pasar estas fechas tan llenas de luz para poder encontrarte con los tuyos y manifestarles lo mucho que les amas. Ten presente que en tu corazón ha nacido Jesús verdadero Dios y verdadero hombre, y que por lo tanto no tienes más deber sino comunicarlo con gestos y palabras cargadas de amor.
