Preparing for Next Sunday Second Sunday of Advent In the first reading from Isaiah, we hear a voice that cries out: In the desert prepare the way of the Lord. In the second reading, we are reminded that we will not know the day or the hour of Jesus return, so we must be ready. Today s Gospel talks of John the Baptist proclaiming a baptism of repentance. The celebration will begin on Monday, December 11 at 11:00 PM with Mañanitas and prayer (no Mass). On Tuesday, December 12 there will be Mass at 8:30 AM in English and at 6:30 PM in Spanish.
