8 MODEL Urban Distribution Platforms (UDP) Objective: Locate these UDP in areas where traffic saturation is high, with a large number of commerce and few load and unload areas. Reduce noise and pollution in urban areas with new technologies according to the new European requirements Implement new technologies (SMS, , ) to improve distribution and logistics in cities and provide information on real time

25 CONCLUSIONS. Cities with different configuration: Modeling by areas of the city Zone study 2. Implementation of Urban Distribution Platforms to. Reduce # vehicles in cities 2. Use of electric vehicles for the last mile 3. Reduction of noise and environmental impacts 3. Use of new technologies to provide information on real time 4. Fulfill European requirements in pollution and noise 5. Future: Searching ways to integrate passengers and freight in the same model
